I was mad at Waylen but what was I supposed to say?

 Sorry but I am pretty sure I have feelings for you. 

Hell no! That was a secret I was taking to my grave…my last proclamation of love didn't exactly go as planned.

I could swear, Waylen was pissed off and this rarely happens.

He exhaled shakily.

"I am not leaving my bed. It is the middle of the night. I am not leaving my comfortable bed to sit on that awful chair, Emily. But you are welcome to sleep there or on the floor. Take your pick"

"I don't want you to leave" I told him truthfully.

"I don't want to leave either and not that you asked but I won't be taking any more trips to Africa" he told me.

I sat upright immediately and looked at him. 

"Are you serious?" I asked him.

I could feel a smile coming on but it didn't last, I wanted to know why.

"But why?" I asked him.
