Ariel kind of felt like the world should stop when she stepped foot out of the car and into the woods. Instinctively, she already has a bad feeling things won't go as she wishes with Jacob now the Alpha in charge of her father's pack.

Today, she's about to witness it by herself and not something that was told to her by anyone.

"Since it's my father's pack and I know the way to it, I guess you all should just follow my lead then" Ariel shrugged politely, volunteering to be the one to take the others along, however, Liam didn't agree to it.

"No, Ariel, a lot has changed since the last time you set foot here. I should take the lead instead, the last time I was here with Blair. We didn't just have to deal with guys from your father's pack but some obstacles too" Liam announced and then pointed to a different route, the one that seems like the route he and Blair followed the last time they visited this place.
