Character note: In spite of her sarcastic and dreary nature she really enjoys watching comedy shows, she seems a bit cold but is actually warm-hearted and cares deeply about her friends. Her friends sometimes complain about her being like their mother from nagging and worrying about them.
She has low energy and sometimes can't deal with Emma's outbursts, she wonders how can people be so outgoing.
She finds Emma's clumsiness endearing and funny but still gets really worried about her.

Character note: He's tried lots of unusual dishes and drinks served in the local area, he could probably write you a list of things to avoid. Even though he ends up trying a lot of things he doesn't like he takes it as a positive experience.
He's very easy going and has a YOLO attitude, he finds people that don't go for what they want dumb.
He's currently going through a phase of putting mayonnaise on everything he eats. He doesn't even like mayonnaise but is certain he'll find a good combination soon.

Character note: She's passionate and hardworking. She has a strong sense of responsibility. She gave up on pursuing her dreams in favour of taking care of her fathers coffee shop when he fell ill.
She's very creative and enjoys art, she's taken to drawing on the walls of the coffee shop. People think it was professionally done at first glance, but some places have been slightly smudged showing she drew it by hand.
She's really down to earth and mature, she's an older sister figure to Emma and wants to protect her.

Character note: He's gentle, kind and patient. He always listens to the customers ranting about their days, he offers advice and tries to make others feel better. People like him because he's generous and treats everyone well, he's the reason most people come to the coffee shop even though it's in a remote location.
He's easy to talk to and easily becomes friends with everyone, his coffee was terrible when he started but it's been improving quickly since he tries really hard to perfect everything he does.
He's added new drinks to his own secret menu and customers always ask if they can try his new creations, even though most of them don't turn out that well.

Character note: She's good at her job and got promoted quickly after joining her current company. She currently has a high salary and easily supports herself and her daughter even when being a single mother. She's sweet and kind, she treats her daughter well and is especially generous towards her. Her and her daughter have a close relationship.
Even though she has a higher position in the company she isn't constantly busy and is able to spend quality time with her friends and family.
She does not look her age, she's sometimes mistaken to be Emma's sister.
She has a strange obsession with historical dramas, this may have started when she was a student and saw a famous drama with, in her words, "a beautiful male lead."

Character note: He's seemingly kind hearted and generous. He's well liked due to his good looks and apparent warm attitude. He's shown to be selfless and caring.
However, you can never be too sure, he says he likes to read. He often wears suits and always wears business casual on days off.
He's picked up life skills through living alone, he lives in a 2 bedroom apartment about 20 minutes away from the college he works at.
There's a saying that there's more than meets the eye, this saying is especially true when talking about him.
