Chapter 10: Setting Up A Business
The Next Day!
The Entertainment District within the Noble Sector of Lily City was particularly crowded today. As the Awakening Ceremony had only recently finished, many Nobles came out towards the Entertainment District, visiting brothels, cinemas, bars and many other establishments to celebrate their successful awakenings. Some persons were celebrating alone, some were celebrating with friends and some are couples enjoying their time.
The scenery here was just really peaceful. In the midst of this incredibly peaceful scene was a car. The car was dark blue, with dark tinted windows that blocked persons from seeing inside of the car. If one would compare the vehicle to one on Earth, it would be a Mercades-AMG A 45. On the side of the car, was a sigil of crimson flames surrounding a dragon with a lightning strike in the background.
'The sigil of the Grand Duchess' is what anyone who saw the sigil would think. It was the sigil representing Sapphire and her family.
Inside of this luxurious car, Damon Rivilea sat, a luxurious fitted crimson suit covering his body. He sat calmly as he waited for the car to reach its destination. After Damon had finished training the previous day, he had went to his room and taken a bath before immediately sleeping. Damien was not allowed to take potions or anything to accelerate his healing or mana regen. This was to train his bodies natural healing factor, and increase Damon's mana regenration by making it regenerate for itself naturally.
Damon sighed as he thought about what happened that morning. After waking up, Damon was made aware of the fact that he now had a training regiment. For 2 hours a day in the morning, Damon must partake in body strengthening training to build his bodily foundation. This early morning training included running, weightlifting, and many other aerobic exercises all while having weight inducing bracelets and the gravity pressure increased.
Damon snapped out of these thoughts after realizing he was very close to his destination. Today, Damon would be conducting a very important meeting related to his future plans.
"System, Sign-In!" Damon said in his head.
[ Ding! Congratulations for Signing in the Divine-Level Technology and Product Design.]
Damon looked at the description of the reward, intruged as to what it would be.
[ Divine-Level Technology and Product Design - This gives the host Divine level knowledge on all technology. The host would have all knowledge on technology from coding to designing technological products such as phones, laptops, cars, ships. The host would also have Divine-Level knowledge of Product Design, allowing the host to design products to the highest possible quality related to the hardware. ]
Damon read this reward description and smiled, this would be very beneficial to his future prospects. Damon accepted the rewards. Suddenly, as per usual, a flood of information enters Damon mind all about technology and designing various technological products.
Time passed and the car Damon was in stopped. Damon exited the car with no hesitation and walked towards the building in front of him. This was a mall, and the major mall in the Noble Sector, that had a variety of different facilities.
Damon walked through the mall, two bodyguards flanking him for protection as a variety of demons looked at him, all smiling and flattering him to potentially obtain connections to the great Grand Duchess, especially with Damon's newly awakened talent.
Damon ignored these obvious attempts to leech off of his status. Damon continued his walk and eventually reached a restuarant, walking to a private room and entering it.
Inside of the room was a young looking demon. The demon had rather sharp facial feature, yet his most noticable feature was his left arm is a dark blue mechanical prosthesis and his right hand also had a mechanical prostethic hand.
The young looking Demon immediately stood up as Damon entered the room and shook Damon's hand with his mechanical prostethic hand.
"Viktor buddy, always nice to meet you." Damon said, a broad smile on his lips. The young man in front of Damon was Viktor, a technological expert. Although Viktor had successfully awakened, his talent was rather low, which lead Viktor on a path of technological innovation, leading to Viktor becoming one of the leading figures in the technological world.
"Same to you." Viktor said as the handshake ended, and the duo sat down, beginning to indulge in the variety of luxurious meals that were already present on the table.
"Now that we're done eating, can you tell me about the apps you want me to make?" Viktor asked as he wiped his mouth with a napkin, finishing his delicious meal.
"The three apps are interactive-based apps. ManaTube will allow people to post videos. The app will have different feeds, one for short videos less than 2 minutes, and one for videos above that time limit. The app will also integrate music use into videos and live streaming. The app ManaGram will allow people to post pictures of their life with captions. Finally, Twitt3r allows people to post things called tweets, that can express stuff such as their opinion. Here's a file giving more information on the app, it shouldn't be so difficult to create." Damon said as he introduced Viktor to his plan, giving Viktor a file with a variety of useful information to help him build the app.
Creating something that had already been built, optimize and tested was nothing too hard. Back on Earth in his previous life, there were a multitude of Social Media apps that existed. Damon was planning on combining these apps and using his Divine-Level Product Design method to create a near perfectly designed apps with all possible needed features.
Damon would have Viktor create an Advanced Outline of his app, and then use his Divine-Level Technology and Product Design to optimize the app for release. Damon was going to use this app as his springboard to gain massive influence in the world.
Damon coming from earth knew how important media and control of the media was. The media controlled the people's perceptions of the world, and the one who controlled the media basically controlled the world. They could sensationalize anything they wanted, hide and bury any information they wanted from the general public and completely shape public opinion. Damon wanted to create these apps to completely grasp the public opinion of this world, before anyone could in the future.
Damon continued negotiating and discussing with Viktor on the specifics of creating the app and payment until the duo shook on it.

Damon had returned to his home and immediately entered training mode. Damon's training with Karthus wasn't for another couple hours, so Damon decided to train in his <Divine Combat Technique.>
Damon knew that training his <Divine Combat Technique> was exceptionally powerful, as it allowed him excellent skill with all types of weapons at their absolute peak. Damon read over the technique and comprehended it.
The <Divine Combat Technique> had two ( 2 ) aspects, Mana Control and Weapon Control. Mana Control is how effectively a being controls the Mana both within their body, and within the immediate surroundings. Mana Control is very important to effective combat, as it teaches the combatant how to properly measure their mana to never run out in case of emergency, and also to never put too much or too little power into their attacks. Mana Control also helps in fusing elements with physical attacks.
Differently, Weapon Control is how effectively a being controls their weapons in combat and the different ways they can use that weapon.
Damon closed his eyes, maximizing his focus before opening them once again, swiftly beginning his Mana Control aspect of his training. Damon circulated the Mana within his body, keeping the circulation at a certain speed. Simultaneously, Damon slowly released his Mana Aura, and began manipulating it into various shapes, from swords, bows, daggers to bigger and more difficult shapes such as Dragons, towers, and Phoenixs. Damon also continuously injected more and more mana into these mana shapes, which made them more difficult to control, allowing Damon to continuously refine his mana control.
Damon eventually integrated his Weapon Control aspects into this, picking up different weapons and using the weapon combat styles taught by the <Divine Combat Technique>, working hard to become stronger and stronger.
Damon took a deep breath and proceeded with the next step of his training.
