Chapter 139: Chapter 139: I am not Tarot!
"Do you remember your name?" Jessica asked calmly and with a comforting tone in her voice. After seeing their reaction to the cages shown in the footage, she surmised that the siblings were from the same place.
The sibling duo was still silent, so Ava decided to shut down the news channel. Only then did the siblings show some response.
Traumatized by the institution, the 17 year old girl and 19 year old boy were shaking in fear as they recalled the inhuman torture they had gone through.
Kai noticed the siblings were shaking, and he sighed slowly behind their back.
"Are you hungry?" Jessica asked again, this time with some worrying tone in her voice.
"Nig***" The black girl muttered softly as she pried deep into her memory.
The group, except for Kai, was startled when the younger sibling started to spit out a racial slur.
"What-?" Ava looked around, not seeing anything that could cause the word to come out. She looked at her brown skin, and guessed that they thought she was a black woman instead of a Latina.
'Unless she was referring to himself or her brother.'
The brother also said the same thing, almost causing a total breakdown amongst the trio.
"Why on earth would you say that?" Jessica asked in an agitated tone.
The siblings were silent for a while, afraid of the sudden anger…they only answered after Jessica was calmed down by Kai.
"Our…name…" The younger sibling muttered slowly. That was her name – she and her brother were both called that the entire time they were in the trafficking ring.
Kai closes his eyes. He gripped his fist tightly as he learned about the events the siblings had gone through, telepathically from Ryan.
"The world is fucked up." He muttered as his grip caused his nail to dig inside his palm, making blood drip from his fist.

"I will take them to a psych ward," Jessica offered after they had put the siblings to sleep after feeding them.
Not only did they learn about the experiments they had gone through, but they were also shocked when they learned about the inhuman abuse that was imposed on them.
The siblings' words before they ate, kept ringing in Ava's ear.
The siblings asked if they needed to satisfy them to get the meal.
The younger sibling opened her mouth while facing Kai's crotch while the older one tried to unbutton Matt's pants and kneeled in front of Matt.
When Matt and Kai consoled them and told them otherwise, they asked if they should do each other, for the crowd's entertainment as they usually do before they can get their one meal per day.
The siblings stuffed their stomachs after hearing that they didn't have to debase themselves to get a meal in the hidden. They cried as they ate, as it had been years since they managed to eat until they were full.
Jessica cried together with the siblings after realizing what they had gone through. Not being able to resist, and being completely at the mercy of others, was the siblings' daily life.
Ava couldn't bring herself to look at the scene, so she hid in the bathroom and cried. Matt was solemn and returned to the docks to make sure that he can save at least one person from going through what the siblings went through.
They have been abused since they were 7 and 9 years old. For the siblings, their lives were more like lab rats than humans. Completely broken, the siblings may never adapt to a normal society if they were left alone.
They were sold to Roxxon a year ago, in which the treatment is infinitely better compared to their previous life inside a trafficking organization. But, their brains were broken by the brainwashing machines.
At the docks where they were fighting Matt, it was the first time in their lab rat life that they were able to see the sky. Usually, they were put in a small cage and only came out when the researcher wanted to experiment on them.
"Your real name is Mago," Kai said to the female sibling.
"Your name is Shaggo," Kai said to the male sibling.
"From today onward, remember your names. I will try my hardest to help you," Kai vowed to the siblings as he patted their heads.
Kai's big hand had given the siblings a chance to remember the warmth of a person caring for them. Lost in the warm feeling, Mago didn't want Kai to stop patting them.
He coaxed the broken siblings calmly and led them to the bedroom to sleep.
"Kai, do you know anything about the ones responsible?" Jessica asked in an interrogative tone with ruthlessness in her eyes. She wanted to go meet the ones responsible for abusing the siblings and cut off their d***.
"Well, I am searching for it," Kai said in a solemn tone. Before the sun comes out that day, he will ensure the network trafficking ring is no longer there.
Ryan had searched the memories of the siblings before this. He had time to delete the more inhuman memory from the siblings' minds and noted the entire trafficking network that was responsible. Their condition right now was after he had deleted the more horrendous memories.
The researchers responsible for the siblings were already dead when he breached the research lab. The ones behind the entire human experimentation were still unknown to him.
"They were too cautious. Even blowing up a person's brains. I couldn't even recover the memory inside it," Ryan muttered as he stood among a sea of corpses.
There are some children kept inside a few metal cages in the place he stormed into. They barely had any clothes and had bruises all over their body.
The suit he was wearing was not the Tarot suit, but another plain black and red suit that will get him a copyright lawsuit from the Merc with a mouth.
He transferred all of the children back to the hidden island to recover before he will send them back to their families. The pair of siblings, Mago and Shaggo will get the same offer when Ryan finishes what he did here.
He will ask them if they want to delete all the painful memories and ensure that they can live a normal life even when they return home.
The STDs and diseases that they have will be cured by him as they had never wished for a life like this.
Even in his previous life, Ryan was always disgusted by the trafficking rings.
"I can finally do something about it now," He muttered.
"What are you talking about?" Yelena in her Oni attire asked weirdly. Not only is she creeped out by his new suits, his talking to himself added to the creepiness.
"Nothing senpai. I will continue hearing your guidance!" Ryan said like an innocent junior in front of his student council senior.
"Please stop. YOU'RE CREEPING ME OUT!"
Yelena's comment caused a thunderous pain deep inside his soul. He falls to the ground and starts to cry.
"I…Had given my outfit an extreme amount of thoughts," He muttered as he playfully knocked on the ground.
"Okay…OKAY!" Yelena yelled as he continued his fake cry.
"Are you going to follow me on the other bases too?" Ryan asked.
"Sure. I'll have to help these people here."
"Why though?"
"Because I can."
Ryan got a new profound respect for the girl who likes to sunbathe on the beach in European style. – completely nude.
"Okay. let's go then. I needed to be back before sundown," Ryan said as he cleaned up his sword and gun. He also needed to be back before Barnes woke up.
Tied up in a hidden base somewhere, Barnes will wake up with his mind clearer than ever. Ryan had plans for the Winter Soldier to ensure that Hydra won't have a peaceful time before the insight project is completed.

The next day came quickly. Ryan was invited to the Avenger base by Tony to settle some affairs. It was an excuse by Tony to check something, but Ryan didn't know that.
"Did you find out about the new guy?" Tony said after making Ryan sign some documents.
"Nope."
"He isn't you in a suit right?" Tony asked curiously. Tarot was similar to Ryan in demeanor. He also thought about the technology that Tarot uses. Those kinds of technological breakthroughs cause him to rack his brain from thinking – was only possible for one person.
"I was at my company at the time," Ryan told his prepared alibi. Luckily he has many witnesses, making even Fury back away from investigating him.
"Oh yeah, you had an uncle. How is he?" Tony signaled JARVIS to do a total scan on Ryan for any brain-related transmitter, as he suspected Tarot is a robot Ryan controlled using a brain transmitter.
"Better now. I have dinner with him tonight," Ryan said casually, not minding the obvious actions of Tony Stark.
"Anyway, it seems that we don't have any lead in finding the culprit for the Rhino. The good news is that SHIELD doesn't have any lead," Tony shared with Ryan what had been going on.
When Tarot announced that he was going to destroy Hydra, a team of SHIELD agents from the STRIKE department had been coming to the Avenger's base in the outskirts, trying to claim the Rhino.
Tony got so annoyed that he placed Bruce Banner in the research lab instead of him. No agent team dared to come as Bruce had unleashed the Hulk to eat some snickers.
'Yeah, 'cause they are the ones who had been tying up the loose ends. I wonder what Roxxon's deal with Hydra is.'
Ryan only thought inside his mind about the matter. He did try to use Zola to find out about the deal, but there wasn't any trace of the agreement between the two parties on anything digital.
"Hmm, no transmitter. How do you control the robot?" Tony asked after seeing the scanning result.
"Through my b*lls. I already told you I am not Tarot right?" Ryan said with an annoyed tone.
"Did you clone yourself?" Tony asked again, showing that he was not believing Ryan in the slightest with his facial expression.
Tony thought of several variables that he didn't manage to find out about Ryan's method of controlling the robot. Such as; Ryan wasn't wearing the transmitter at the moment as he was afraid of him finding out.
"I am not him," Ryan answered curtly.
"How about ALBUS controlling the robot?"
"I am not him."
"It wasn't the Parker kid, right? Hmm, it seemed unlikely. So how do you do it?" Tony thought about the variables and asked him the same question multiple times.
"Haaaaaaaaaaaaa," Ryan let out a long sigh.
Tony gives up after pestering Ryan for half an hour. – for now.
"Don't you think the incident is weird? The lieutenant was obviously killed by a sniper rifle, but they blamed Tarot for it."
Tony brought up the video of the attack and the fake autopsy report that was used to frame Tarot.
"Super weird. Have you investigated the research lab?" Ryan asked with a little anticipation. He did try to find clues about the researchers and the person responsible, but he hasn't gotten a clue about it.
"I did trace every possible suspect that was leaving New York last night or mysteriously disappeared today, but none of them had anything to do with Roxxon, or cross genetic research.
Tony showed the possible suspect on the monitor screen.
>Dr. Otto Octavious had been away from New York for almost a year after his wife's miscarriage.
> Dr. Curtis Connor who teaches at New York University. He flew to Vegas last night and returned this morning.
> Dr. Sheldon Cooper who had come to New York for an interview with Knight Industry on a new research project.

Tony had cross-referenced the suspects with their capabilities to do the research that created the Rhino.
Ryan saw a familiar name on the list.
"What about Norman Osborn?"
"He didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Also, get this. That bastard had a child. A 12 years old child," Tony said in a dissatisfied tone.
He wasn't dissatisfied with Norman having a child, but the fact that he had never managed to find out about it before.
"Wait, Harry Osborn?" Ryan was intrigued by the gossip.
"Nope, Harriet Osborn. He had a daughter."
"What the actual f*ck!" Ryan cursed suddenly. He couldn't control his feelings when he heard about the gender-bending role of Harry Osborn.
"Urm. Don't exaggerate. It wasn't that shocking, " Tony was startled when Ryan suddenly behaved out of the norm.
"Also, Oracle, when will you find out about the culprit?" Tony teases.
"What do you want me to do? See the future?" Ryan asked in a playful tone.
"Isn't that your gimmick? Oh, wise one..show me the future!"
When the duo was goofing off, suddenly the elevator to the floor opened.
"What are you boys yapping about?" Natasha walked into the room as she was tasked to find out what Tony knew about the incident.
"Ryan is going to see the future," Tony said to make trouble.
Ryan placed his finger on his head like the 90's Professor X, minus the wheelchair.
"I See something…"
"What is it, Oracle?" Tony played together with Ryan.
"I see that…your daughter will love me 3000," Ryan said, causing Tony to be dissatisfied. They didn't know the gender of the baby yet, and he especially didn't want his daughter to like Ryan more.
Natasha smiled sincerely after looking at the man-child duo. Her rare, truthful smile was only displayed for the people she was close to.
…
In front of Knights Manor.
"Hey, do I look good?" Gwen asked as she twirled her new dress. It was a modest look she was dressed in to impress the parents and family of the groom.
The duo stood together in front of the door after Ryan parked his Lamborghini in front of the house.
"You look great in everything Gwen," Ryan said as he kissed her cheek.
However, he seemed to have done something wrong as Gwen was pouting.
"Only great?" Gwen asked playfully.
"Ahh, great and pretty, and sexy, and cute…and most importantly…"
"What is the most important one?" Gwen becomes intrigued after Ryan acts mysteriously. He grabbed her hand gently and kissed the back of her hand.
"Mine."
Gwen blushed as Ryan looked directly into her emerald-green eyes.
"Okay, you pass!" Gwen said excitedly as they entered the mansion together.
The dinner went smoothly. Marcus asked several questions about Gwen and Ryan, and he showed his support for the marriage.
"You know, Gwen reminded me of your mother," Marcus said suddenly.
"Oh, in what ways?" Ryan asked. He had never heard about his mother's story from anyone other than his father and godfather, so he was curious.
Gwen held Ryan's hand underneath the table as she knew that Ryan didn't have any memories of his mother. She died when he was barely two years old. Added to the premise, she was glad Ryan didn't have any big mommy issues.
"She was smart and beautiful," Marcus replied.
He talked about his meeting with Ryan's mother and how he was the one who introduced Tim and Madeline. Ryan listened attentively to what Marcus was saying, and his father Tim had a gentle smile on his face.
Maybe because Marcus was family, Ryan had never bothered to check his memory as he had trusted in the man. Even in his memory, the previous Ryan and Marcus were extremely close.
Marcus was extremely gentle on the surface, but he was silently noting every gesture and every word Ryan had uttered. His friends, his loved ones, all it was remembered by Marcus.
Hydra had placed Ryan on a watchlist, and Marcus was responsible for it. There was also the matter of the organizations that he faked his capture in and was destroyed overnight.
His observation showed that Ryan didn't do it himself, but he may have acquaintances.
Like a snake, Marcus will slowly stalk his prey and find out everything about Ryan before he commences his attack on the Knight Industry and reclaims his position as the true heir of the family.
"So Ryan, what do you think about Tarot?" Marcus asked with a smile on his face, wanting to see if there was any connection between the 'supervillain' and a member of the Avenger, the Oracle.
"He is handsome," Ryan answered playfully while skirting off the topic.
