Chapter 15: chapter 15 - White Tempest
A 3 years prior, Caelum was travelling around the clover kingdom to train and gain experience with people considering the castle as confining and provided few things for his growth. He had a long cloak to hide his identity and to remain to wear his mask. His stature was no different than an 18 year boy despite his biological age to be 14 while mentally being 40.
Though he always remains carefree and laid back, refusing to act like an old man. Caelum roam the land walking through the vast plateau of the forsaken lands. He pity and see their struggles to be underappreciated but couldn't help them even if he wanted to.
Caelum is too occupied with his own goal to dream about peace and equality when it's impossible to achieve a thing. Perhaps temporarily but eventually conflict and hierarchy would be established.
He experienced it first hand being below and working to survive. Caelum worked different jobs and supported his family. It was fortunate enough that his sister's best friend's father helped find him a decent job. At first he wanted a higher position but Caelum saw it as a negative considering people's view of him.
Therefore worked hard to show his worth at that time. Caelum would resign once he returned to his old world. The thought was interrupted when he noticed a village seem at the process of being pillaged by bandits. He instantly used [ Shundō ] to vanish from his spot and arrive instantly before spreading his senses across the village counting around 10 mages that were pillaging the place.
He witnessed one of them fighting the bandits and saw that it was a nun using her water magic against them. She was protecting the people behind her despite her skills in combat being out marched by her opponent.
"Had enough? I believe it is better to surrender than fight in vain."
Her opponent mockingly said looking at their clothes being torn by their attacks while lecherous gazing at her body. They were planning on enjoying her body once they finished pillaging everyone. The nun was Lily Aquaria who was trembling in fear yet stood her crowd fearing for those people behind her unable to back down or they will all die.
She was afraid of what they would do to her if she ran out of magic and finally defeated everyone. Lily prayed to her god for some salvation showing their divine retribution against the people lost in their path.
It was at that moment, a figure appeared in thin air silently looking at the two sides observing them. They were shocked to see the masked young man emanating a pressure that made them wary to take action. Lily stared intently at him who smiled under his mask before turning to face their enemy.
"You've done well. Now let me handle the rest."
Upon saying those words an enormous magical energy flared releasing his pressure towards everyone he deem as an enemy. Caelum removes his cloak revealing a sleeveless shirt and cargo pants with high booths and black gloves covering his forearm. His arms soon formed strangely tattooed before his form started to change with his aura having a tinge of silver.
He covered his body with [ Silver Aura ] causing the whole area to feel the intense coldness while Caelum narrowed his gaze toward them. At that moment, Caelum clasped his hand before speaking simple words.
"Helheim."
Spreading his magic in a wide array causes those mages to instantly freeze and unable to move while those who had flame magic type were able to escape and fight back. Caelum calculated this would happen and quickly molded blades behind and grasped one of them before sending numerous slashes attacks that send devastating energy that slice the ground.
He sliced their attack and protected the people behind him, defeating them rather easily. Those spectating were baffled at what they had witnessed, a young man single handedly defeated a group of mages with ease. Caelum slammed his foot against one of them looking around to see the mess where people littered on the floor.
"W-Who are you? A magic knight??"
"I'm batman."
He knocks out the leader with a single kick before looking back to the villager who woke up from their shock and cheered that they were safe while Lily was mesmerized by his sudden arrival thanking god for his arrival. They all quickly went to Caelum who quietly nodded from their words remaining silent throughout.
"Savior, can we invite you to our village and show our gratitude?"
"....I don't mind but let me first handle the bandit. It is better to tend to the wounded than thanking me."
They nodded helping to those who were injured while Caelum proceeded to cast spells that bind the bandits to place before taking their grimoire and selling them to his system. Once everything was done, Caelum was called out by the nun from earlier.
"Oh is there anything you need?"
"Uhm I just want to personally thank you for saving us. If not for you then I don't know what would have happened."
Caelum could see that she was shaking up the whole ordeal which is understandable knowing that her life was almost defiled by them. Though, he had to admit that she's quite tough for a nun for being able to fight back 10 bandits.
"It's fine, I was only passing by when I noticed them trying to pillage this place."
"Still I sincerely thank you. My name is Lily Aquaria."
"Call me Indra. I have to admit that you're quite a strong and capable woman with a solid resolve."
He complimented her character and was impressed at her action to fight them off. Though, it was to be expected as she was a nun and it was her duty to help others. Furthermore in the canon had fought someone possessed by an elf and lasted quite a bit.
For someone who doesn't have combat experience had potential to be as strong or stronger than Noelle in the canon if given the chance. Though, all of this is just an assumption but Caelum guesses normally have a high chance to be true.
Lily felt her words strike with her and appreciated his compliment growing curious to who he was but didn't want to pry on someone's secrets.
After a while Caelum had joined them for a meal with everyone curious to see what their savior looked like only to be disappointed as he ate the meal without even removing his mask.
"What!? How can you eat while wearing a mask!?"
"That's for me to know. Also I enjoy seeing your reaction."
Caelum laughed it off seeing their expression being dumbstruck by the hilarious scene. He enjoyed his stay and was invited to visit often.

"That's how it happened."
Caelum was telling the story to Noelle and Mimosa who were surprised that he had been training for quite some time while also saving people throughout the clover kingdom.
He had occasionally visited them when he was in the area and often chatted with sister lilt and guided the two protagonists. Though, Caelum didn't need to do much knowing their future and only gave a little push.
"That sounds amazing!"
"I'm excited to meet everyone."
Caelum chuckled, growing closer to their destination until they were able to see the farmland and the people noticing their arrival quickly greeted them. They quickly noticed his mask and immediately knew who he was.
"It's Indra! Everyone, Indra is back!"
Everyone shouted his alias and never expected that the nickname would stick with him. The children immediately went toward him while being curious who the two girls were.
"We miss you, Indra! Why haven't you visited us until now?"
"Hehehe sorry, I was kind of busy but hey I'm here now."
He patted their head smiling sweetly enjoying their excited faces before noticing sister lily arriving and before any words could be spoken was hugged by the nun.
'So this is what Shinra feels…'
Caelum could feel her breast against his body and if not for his control over his body then he would have a raging erection. He embraces the nun feeling the warmth and affection from her hug.
"Why haven't you visited us!? I thought you'd forgotten about us."
"Hehehe how can I forget about my favorite nun?"
He chuckled trying to calm her down and saw her pouting showing that she was mad that he had neglected to visit them. Caelum already knew her feelings about him due to the system's parameters.
Once she let go finally noticed the two women behind Caelum who were intently looking at her and made Lily's body shudder. They were inspecting her body and evaluating everything about her.
"Caelum, are you not going to introduce us?"
"Caelum? Is that your name?"
Caelum didn't say anything and removed his mask revealing his good looks to the words that completely captured the nun heart. She had been tempted by his devilish looks and couldn't help but blush. The people around them were excited to see his face finally revealed to them.
"Well, my name is Caelum, Magic knight Captain of the new squad called White Tempest. These are two lovers, Mimosa Vermillion and Noelle Silva."
"Hello there it's nice to meet you all."
"It's a pleasure to meet you."
"H-Hello my name is Lily Aquaria, it's nice to meet you."
Lily nervously said feeling jealous that the person that she had strong affection for already had lovers and was reluctant to ruin it by joining them. The girls notice this and look at each other before nodding, having the same thought as the other."
"Caelum, can you go ahead and investigate the place while we chat with Sister Lily about something?"
Caelum nodded knowing what their aim was and decided to start investigating. Sister Lily was anxious to chat with them but took them inside to have a private conversation. They left their man who went towards the village chief to ask for any information about the situation.
He couldn't exactly ask Cereza for information since she only provides support and acts independent towards Caelum. She could only provide things that he may already know.
"So this is what you look like, Indra?"
"Just call me by name, Caelum."
"Caelum? Alright, is there anything you need from me?"
He quickly asked about the request and recent disappearance of people without any traces. The villagers had already placed people on watch to lessen the disappearances of people. Caelum vaguely guesses that it is either people from the eye of the midnight sun or just some wild beast.
Caelum spread his senses, finding traces of magical energy leading towards the forest. He already guesses that the one responsible for the disappearances are not just human but also wild beasts.
'I'll leave Noelle and Mimosa in charge if by chance the village is attacked.'
"Is there anymore that I could be of help?"
"It's enough for the village chief."
He left the place while placing his mask back on, flaring his magic energy augmenting his body, coating the surroundings with his [ Silver Aura ] before vanishing by using [ Shundō ] heading towards where his senses pick up the magical energy.
It didn't take long for him to arrive at a cave entrance that had a foul stench of blood. The killing intent was noticeable but he shrugged it off and took a step inside that instantly was attacked by someone.
'Is that?'
Caelum found out who was dealing with much to his annoyances. It was person with his arms turned into blades flaring it's bloodlust towards him.
"Why is a dark disciple like you out here?"
"Oh you know of us!?"
The dark disciples are people who followed the dark triad that had usurped the spade kingdom's throne. Caelum planned on visiting the place once everything was over in the clover kingdom but who knew that he'll face someone under the triad.
"Who are you under? Vanica, Zenon or Dante?"
"Kukuku I don't belong to anyone but myself!! I'm merely a scout and let be."
Caelum spread his senses and quickly picked up that the village was undersieges by some troops within the spade kingdom. He pondered if they are bold or reckless but regardless his prediction was correct.
'Hmph. They're probably kidnapping citizens that won't be noticed by the capital and used in experiments. I guess I need to take this a bit more seriously.'
"Hahahaha I can't wait for those weakling to cry in despair as their life is-"
"Silver Armament: White Tempest."
The dark disciple trembles upon the divine sight of Caelum using his [ Tempest blade ] emanating powerful aura that was perfect for the devil's. Caelum wanted to enjoy it in a way that he didn't hold back.
