Chapter 86: Chapter 83 - Mavis
I'm not sure when i'll be able to give you guys another chapter after this but I hope everyone understand and enjoy this chapter. I'll do my best to write as much as possible and hope eventually my schedule give me a free time to write.

Exactly 2 Years had passed, Caelum and the others kept getting quest after quest from the townspeople to other places and kept doing a great job.
As time passed, Caelum slowly started showing his strength which amazed the other's and asked for training which he happily gave them. Unfortunately, they soon realize his training was utter torture being repeatedly beaten by him until they were exhausted.
Few quit rather easily while only original founder Yuri, Precht and Warrod stuck around to beat him. However luck wasn't on their side as he was far too skilled and easily defeated while exploiting their weaknesses, especially Precht's dark desires.
There was a clear hidden demon in his heart that kept whispering to fall into madness and evil. Caelum made sure that he won't fall into evil and taught him a few things to help overcome his demons.
Caelum was not against walking the devil's path but it requires for the person to be in control rather than their desires consuming them. He was not a master of his own demon but he is not prone to easily fall to it than a normal person.
In all accounts, the mages have a Ranking system and could gauge Yuri, Precht and Warrod to be around S Class wizard. They were proficient in their own magic and well capable.
"Is it just me or has Mavis growing a bit taller?"
Yuri remarked looking at Mavis who were happily teaching orphan children who had joined the guild. After their mission with the orphanage, Mavis decides to take some of them into the guild to have a job and family. These children are taught magic and given a simple mission that would have one adult to supervise them depending on the mission.
Caelum had built a dormitory for them that would be free until they reach the age of 15 and could do a better quest in the guild.
Meanwhile, Yuri noticed how Mavis had grown older despite knowing that there had been a curse placed upon her after using an incomplete magic.
Caelum who was closed by reading a book regarding Eyes magic that he wanted to include to his [ Tensei Rinne-sharigan ] abilities. He perks when he hears Yuri notice that Mavis was growing which should be impossible.
"Are you drunk again, Yuri? You know it should be impossible."
"No, I think he's right. I've noticed it as well."
Warrod was confused since his two friends had the same thought and turned to look at Mavis who noticed them watching wave his hand before continuing to teach the children and telling them stories.
"You're right, she seems taller than before and…mature if that makes sense?"
"Hey, Caelum don't you think so as well?"
"Well….I was waiting until she reached 15 but since she is one then I guess it's time I should tell her."
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"Don't tell Mavis unless I told her but…I've managed to lift her curse."
"Wha-!?"

The three were about to shout yet Caelum used a simple phrase to stop them for a moment to let them calm down before explaining himself further.
"You three, you'll ruin the surprise! Anyway, let me explain firstly you three or even Mavis do not know this but she was actually inflicted by the curse of Ankhseram."
"Curse of Ankhseram?"
Yuri exclaimed, trying to remember the name while Caelum flinch blankly look at him.
"....Did you skip my lesson about that?"
"Of course not! Curse of Ankhseram is…uhm...well.."
"Curse of Ankhseram is the more regard the cursed individual holds for life then the more they will end up killing inadvertently and only when they no longer have any regards to life will they stop killing at all which led this Magic to be known as the "The Contradictory Curse." The main side effect of this curse is near-absolute immortality. "
Precht explained, causing Yuri and Warrod's eyes to go wide, realizing that not only the kind hearted Mavis would never grow old but also would kill those she cherished. They felt as if swallowing a hard pill upon the revelation.
"Why did you keep this from us!?"( Warrod )
"At that time her curse was still small and her kind and hopeful heart had protected it from blooming causing it to remain dormant before I lifted it. Telling you or even Mavis would trigger her mind to be conscious of her curse causing to become active."
His explanation calmed them down seeing that it was logical since they've been together for 2 years and yet nothing has happened till now.
"But she's still immortal, only that Mavis would stop aging when she reaches her prime. Though, she can still die by other means and cannot die of old age."
"Then when are you telling her?"( Yuri )
"When you get a lover."
"So never?"( Warrod )
"Hey!"
Yuri gave his friend a light punch while Warrod laughed after teasing him.
"But seriously, are you going to tell her?"
"I'm going to tell you right now, look."
He pointed at Mavis who walked towards them after finishing teaching the children and telling them stories with a wide happy smile.
"What were you three talking about?"
"Why don't you be next to me for this?"
Mavis was curious what Caelum was about to tell him and quickly sat down while the three ordered some beer and food. He stood up looking at everyone in the guild who had grown to be like his family despite knowing some of them eventually would die. Though, Caelum knows they'll eventually have another life and shouldn't take the value of mortality from them.
"I have something to tell everyone. As all of you know, Mavis would not physically grow anymore because of a passed event."
Everyone intently listens, nodding since they know the situation about their guild master while Mavis was confused as he was about to tell.
"Today I'm happy to say that I've discovered a way to lift it in a way where her body would grow older until reaching her prime."
"Whaaaat!?"
"Wait let me finish! *Cough* As I was saying, I already cast the magic into Mavis and waited a year or two to see any differences because I wanted to confirm my theory and amazingly it worked!"
Caelum said looking at Mavis who was taken aback at what he had just announced to everyone.
"Y-You mean I can grow older?"
"Yes but you won't pass your prime and remain immortal. I'm sorry if-"
He apologies since his [ Harem Parameter ] could be considered a curse since those that trigger it would always end up with Caelum. His expecting Mavis to simply hug him yet was taken aback when she kissed him with everyone watching, surprising them.
A moment that felt like an eternity where everything became white noise as if the world had vanished and only the two of them remained. The two stared at each other's eyes with Mavis crying and hugging Caelum tightly.
"Thank you! Thank you!"
"Well, everyone, time to celebrate!"
"Yeaaah!"
No one even tried to tease them and only celebrated for the news knowing that despite how cheerful Mavis was still affected by the thought of her body won't ever mature. Caelum had given her hope, a light in the sea of despair and not her heart was filled with love and affection from it.
Everyone got drunk and dancing around like the future fairy tail would one day be. Mavis was blushing when she finally realized what she had done but couldn't escape Caelum now forcing her to remain in his lap.
"I knew you liked me and waited until you took your step. You don't have to worry even if your body had remain when I first met you would eventually fall for your cheerful smile and energetic self."
Caelum couldn't deny that he never desired Mavis to be his lover but was glad he did because she may lack in the allure and was full of personality that couldn't help but fall for her.
"I know you're worried that I might grow old and die but to tell you the truth I am immortal as well."
"Wait, you have the same curse as me?"
"No, it's not a curse but rather I choose to be this way because my dream is to become the strongest being and reach beyond the stars."
"Why would you do that?"
Mavis asked worried that he might feel pain seeing those people that had grown to be his friends grow old and rot away. Caelum softly smiled and patted her head before giving her another kiss causing Mavis to become flustered.
He then showed things about himself since Mavis was already part of his harem. Caelum did not hide that he had killed people despite having the power to save them showing that he was not a good person nor was he an evil man.
Caelum knows what he is and things needed to be done in order to achieve his goals. The only thing that he refused to do is killing truly innocent people. Their lips departed with Mavis looking at him intently.
"You're someone from another world AND the emperor of the Dragon Empire, Archeapeiron!? Does that mean you're over 400+ years old?"
"Mentally, I'm over 10,000,000+ years old. Also, my flesh is technically 100,000+ years old."
He spent numerous years spending time in an illusionary dimension with his family which had the dilution of 1 day and 100,000 years ratio. It didn't improve anything since it's only in an illusionary world that still had tempered with mentality.
Caelum's body and flesh was roughly 100,000+ years old if he included aging it enough to have a noticeable effect with his strength.
"AND you have a group of humans in your harem? I don't know why you want-"
"Stop it, I don't want you comparing yourself to them. You're you and I love every part of it."
He moved to embrace her from behind Mavis and placed his head into shoulder. She could love from his embrace calming her down while trying to comprehend everything about Caelum.
"I-I….thank you, Caelum."
"You're welcome, now I'm still waiting to hear what you think about being with me."
"There's no to it, I've already accepted the others to grow old but now that I know I'll have people by my side till the end is comforting especially having someone like you by my side."
Caelum smiled, tightening his embrace and didn't even have the desire to do so, letting Mavis adjust about everything. Eventually, time passed and Caelum had brought Mavis into the empire where her heart lit up seeing many dragons up close.
"Wait, does that mean you also have dragon form?"
"I do and I'll let you ride on head next time."
"Still, I would love to see a fairy."
"Maybe in another world since you never know. Anyway, let me introduce you to the others."
Mavis was nervous yet excited at the same time eager to meet her new friends and fellow woman of Caelum. Soon enough, she met with everyone who scanned her head to toe before warmly welcoming her to their weird relationship. She noticed that most of them were pregnant and we're excited to see them give birth.
"When will you give birth?"
"Few more decades."( Irene )
"That's long!? Why is that?"
"Well, our husband said it is because we're not human anymore." ( Noelle )
"It's not bad and our mentally has changed as well." ( Mimosa )
"You remind me of myself before I met Caelum."( Secre )
Secre shared her story with Mavis since both of them were cursed to live forever with the same youthful body but fortunately Caelum fixed it and had made her more mature. They gave Mavis a tour of the empire who were energetic throughout the explorations. She was already well liked by everyone especially how innocent she was, similar to Mimosa.
