Chapter 3: diving in
the party entered the first floor, being this the first time Hohenheim saw such a place, he is quite excited but didn't let his Adrenaline get the best of him, despite the hormone rush he is feeling like being a teen again, his mind is clear and calm, and focused on the party in front of him
from what he can conclude, and from the ratio of black area and white area that cover their bodies when he sees what he calls it [soul perspective], he assumed that these adventures are quite average, and their average stats are around H~F, well to normal people, this can give someone a possible edge, but he isn't normal teen after all, despite losing all his previous strength, he can handle himself, though he won't be creating useless conflict
looking around the first floor, The walls are light blue colored, and it looks like a huge cave in front, but from the walls, something comes out!
"Alright! ready! prepare for combat!" Tez said raising his saber, Kosy her daggers, and Gabbi the big guy a huge heavy sword, a tank-theif-fighter formations
a crowd of monsters appears, around 3-4 dog-headed monsters were created out of walls!
"koblads! don't lose focus, newbie!" Gabbi said
"fufufu, hide behind this big sister, hohe-chan~" Kosy giggled
"brat! hold the knife I gave you! your survival depends on you!" Tez said with a snort
'you mean the rusty piece of metal you gave me earlier, and even said it'll be deducted from your salary!' Hohenheim thought with twitching eyes, hold the knife in his hand, and gave it a look
'well, it's better than nothing..first I got removed the rusty, enhanced the metal...' when his teammates were distracted, he ran his alchemy spark through the knife, now that he knows he can't yet change the atomic structure of matter he has, actions related to chemical reactions are plausible, the lightning spark moving through the metal, and magic, at least to any viewer happened!
the rust on the iron was slowly removed and the knife regained its previous brilliance, but because of its cheap product (a couple thousand of vlais), it's not very effective, Hohenheim then change the knife structure, making it incredibly sharp, and the same time increased the density, making it a bit shorter as compensation, the final step is the hardest, around the knife air started to move, and knife color starts to change to turned black, making its durability much higher, turned it to steel.
Hohenheim looked at the final product

'...and they called me newbie...' he thought with amusement, to him, they didn't even hold their weapon right, a lot of wasted movement, and zero technique, he had a peak weapon master in his soul previously, and he would spat on them for such display

'hmm, if the monsters up to 4 floors are similar in strength, then it won't be hard to ace them, but I gotta find some way to leave those lunatics, joining their god isn't on my to-do list...I should look for some lone god or goddess to join, that way I could lay low and build my strength, I hope I find someone with whom I can trust...last time I joined something unusual, I created some egoistic who had a god-complex, thankfully it died..' he sighed, and looked at Tez saber cutting the kobold head
"finally they died!" Gabbi said happily," oi, boy collect the stones for us!" Hohenheim did as told, and get near the monster corpse, looked around for a bit, and find a dark purple shiny stone near the monster's heart, he removed it and the monster corpse turned into ashes, Hohenheim want to study it a bit, but thought it's not the time, he did the same for the rest of the corpses and put the magic stones in his bag
"ohh! look! hohe-chan is our lucky charm! it's our first time to have a drop item!" Kosy said with glee and pointed near the previous corpse's location
"drop item?" Hohenheim asked curiously
"sometimes monsters drop it when removed their stone, but it's rather rare." Tez explained, "that's a kobold nail, used for blacksmithing." Hohenheim picked it, up and hide it in the bag,
"let's continue."
"yes leader~"
"sure."
after a while they continue to the next floor, on the way they encountered another monster called goblin, it was even weaker than the previous one, but it moved to with seven to eight at once, all were killed, but no drop item, the same continue for the next two floors...
on the 4th floor, Hohenheim took two things out, the magic stones and the drop item, and did a thing he didn't for a while
'atomic scan.' he said the technique name, the spark moved through the things he hold, the sparks moved through the nail, and after a while stop, 'so that's how it's made... interesting' he smiled and looked at the stone, the stone starts to glow, even more, Hohenheim from hundreds of years of experience immediately notice danger and through it as far as he can, soon after the reaction came
*boom!* the stone exploded in the air creating a big explosion
"what the hell happened?!" Tez span around to see a purplish gas in the air, but before anyone can say something, the dungeon walls start to transform!
"lizard dungeon!" Kosy said
"The explosion attracted dozens! we can't handle those! run!" Tez said in rush, making the two others run for their lives, Hohenheim followed them, but when running his leg stuck on the floor
"Gabbi-san, kosy-san, leader! help!" Hohenheim said in urgency!
the trio looked at him, Tez said, "leave him! he will be a good distraction!" and as a demonstration, the lizards rushed to him first
"sry kid, nothing personal," Gabbi said
"ahh, what a waste~," Kosy said in regret but the trio rushed towards the exist leaving their new teammate behind
Hohenheim looked at them with amusement, rushed some alchemy sparks through his leg, and removed the hole he made previously, "tsk, tsk, who knew they really would abandon me, I knew they must be rotten, thankfully I improvised and used the unintentional explosion earlier as a means to make them leave me.." he said as he removed the bag from his shoulder and looked at the upcoming lizards towards him
he cracked his neck and said with a smile, " it's been a while since I let myself loose, and killing you won't make my conscious guilty, I hope you forgive me for using you as dummies for training a bit~" he said as he prepared the knife previously made
