Chapter 10: Queen
"Are you ready Grayfia?" Arakan said as he stood against her.
"I should be the one asking that" Grayfia replied as magic circles were constructed behind her.
"I was born ready!" Arakan replied as he got in a stance.
"What do you think Kakucho? who will win?" Izana asked.
"I think Arakan has a good chance to win this...however Grayfia-san is no pushover either" Kakucho responded as he too was looking forward to this fight.
"If Grayfia-san really that powerful?" Kasumi asked.
"She can be compared to the Satan's in fact I would argue she is even stronger than Serafall," Izana said during Arakan's absence he was the representative of the Barbatos along with Grayfia he had met the Satans plenty of times.
"Arakan's true destructive strength resides in his Physical Powers when compared he could be placed even above the satan in that part. However, his downfall is that he never fully trained his magic." Kakucho said.
"Devils, Angels, Fallen you name it uses magic as the main source of damage one of the reasons he might not be able to defeat anyone from that class. "Izana said. Both he and Kakucho has been with Arakan throughout his entire life they knew about him the most.
"The biggest factor here is whether Arakan has trained his magic to be able to fend off Grayfia's barrage of strikes? or is Grayfia even fast enough to be the first to strike," Kakucho said as they both observed the current stalemate.
"I see it like what happened with Sara, he needs just one opportunity to strike before he nearly killed her," Kasumi concluded as she too now was invested in this battle.
"He did train his Wind magic with Tiamat however I don't think it was strong enough to harm her," Sara said as she remembered Arakan's spars with Tiamat.
"Dragons have natural high resistance to strike however devils don't possess such endurance exception to that is of course Arakan. I wouldn't be surprised he could tank Lucifer's Power of Destruction with his bare body." Izana said.
"The match is about to start, get ready" Kakucho warned before a Seves rang a bell signifying the start of the match.
Grayfia was the first to start as she released a wave of frozen shards towards Arakan. Using his speed and his martial arts Arakan easily avoided the lances and closed the distance between them.
Giving no regards Arakan used Exploding Heard Release Fist and punched Grayfia in her gut. The shock from the punch traveled to her whole body as she spat out some blood and saliva.
"You should have gone for something that would affect the entire area to slow me down," Arakan said as he criticized Grayfia's plan of attack.
"Seves call the match to an end I am sure she is down for the count," Arakan said. As soon as those words came from his mouth Grayfia started to stand right back up.
A large magic circle appeared in front of her as she pointed it towards the skies. The circle kept on getting bigger signifying the amount of magic put.
"It is as you said young master I should have used this from the-" Before Grayfia could complete her words Arakan appeared in front of her and punched in the same place yet again.
"He is brutal...even to someone who was beside him all those years," Sara said as she was a little scared of Arakan.
"It's his own way of respecting his opponents if goes too easy it's like mocking the opponent. In his own words you need to hold back to not harm the weak there is no other reason" Izana said as he looked towards the battle with a smile on his face.
"Besides he is holding back enough to not kill her," Kakucho said.
"What a weird captain" Kasumi muttered with a slight smirk.
"Grayfia you didn't expect that I would not have a follow-up strike?" Arakan asked as Grayfia was once again on the floor as she spat out more blood.
"You are strong...strong enough to match Satans however you lack their durability and Battle IQ they made throughout the years of battles. Grayfia Lucifage do you accept Defeat!" Arakan asked as he looked towards Grayfia.
"I see...very well I accept my defeat," Grayfia said as she held her hand up.
"Young Master...I cannot stand up" Grayfia said as she dropped to the ground.
"I guess it was kinda my fault," Arakan said as he put Grayfia in a princess carry, However, due to their height difference, it looked rather comical.
"Seves I will be taking Grayfia to her room can you make sure that my peerage trains well?" Arakan asked.
"It would be my utmost pleasure" Seves responded as he looked towards the observers.
"You know I am rather fired up too from the battle," Seves said as his eyes gained a dangerous glint.

"Young Master...Thank you" Grayfia said as Arakan laid her on the bed.
"Do you need help with anything else?" Arakan asked.
'Did I hit her too hard?' Arakan questioned himself.
"I will be fine just some injuries that will be healed over time...umm can you also untie the back of my uniform?" Grayfia asked shyly as she turned around and held the overs to hide the rest of her body.
"Sure," Arakan said as he opened the uniform from the back allowing Grafia to freely remove it whenever she wishes.
"So Fia-chan it is time," Arakan said as he pulled his Queen Piece.
"Indeed...since I have been besides Young Master...I now wish to fight alongside you as well" Grayfia said accepting the Queen Piece.
"Thank you Grayfia for everything...you should rest now, feel free to call me in case you need help," Arakan said as he gave her a soft smile and patted her head.
Feeling Great embarrassment Grayfia hid herself under the cover in a flash. Poking out a little part of her head she looked towards Arakan.
"Thank you for taking me in Arakan-sama," Grayfia said as she looked towards Arakan with slight dreamy eyes.

"Arakan-sama, the Satans are calling the family heads for a meeting, I think you should get ready," Seves said as he approached Arakan.
"The Satans? There should be not any occasion for a meeting if I am correct...was there any more information regarding this?" Arakan asked as he started to walk towards his room to prepare.
"No, I am afraid, not young master. I have already prepared your set of clothes please prepare yourself." Seves said before parting ways in front of Arakan's room.
'A call for all Demon Lords...is it regarding the peace treaty in two years? they want to start negotiating so early?' Arakan thought as he started to get ready.
'It could also be related to Rias's engagement in two years...perhaps he is trying to send Rias to the human world to avoid early problems' Arakan thought as he finished dressing.
For the first time in years did Arakan notice himself. During his training, the only thing he cared about was getting stronger and mimicking the creatures of Familiar Forest.
Over time his hair had grown quite long and almost reached his neck. His light Jade hair was now a darker shade due to the activation of the monster cell.
His skin looked pale white like pure snow and his amber eyes now gave little glow. His looks made him apart from others as his very being demanded respect.
'My looks have changed to some degree...is it the essence of Yang?' Arakan questioned himself as he looked at the mirror.
'I look great' Arakan thought to himself as he checked again in case something was missing before heading out.
"You look great," Izana said as he approached Arakan dressed formally.
"I can say the same for you, also here," Arakan said he passed Izana a pair of Hanafuda Earrings.
" I thought would suit you. " Arakan said with a smile.
"I always wanted a pair," Izana said as he put them on.
"I feel complete now," Izana said with a smirk.
"Anyways Seves must have informed you about the meeting so hang on to me we are leaving now," Arakan said as Izana nodded and held his shoulder. Both of them disappeared from the Barbatos manor and appeared in front of the Demon King's Castle.
