Chapter 36: Enter Garou!
"Michale, it seems that the three factions would have to join their hands against this one" Sirzechs stated as he and Michale too floated to the skies to fight against Arakan.
"In that case, I will lend Arakan-sama my strength" Grayfia stated as she too spread out her wings.
"You both settle down" Arakan commanded.
"I will these fools what means to be at the top of this world!" Arakan declared as he got ready to face the leaders of the three biblical factions.
Azazel charged at Arakan with his spear piercing through the wind as Michale prepared spears of Light and Sirzechs prepared spheres of Power of Destruction.
"That is not how a spear should be used!" Arakan yelled as the Primordial Jade Winged Spear appeared in his hands and he used it to slash at Azazel.
Under Arakan's strength, Azazel's artificial Scale Male and Spear didn't last a second and immediately broke into pieces allowing Arakan to slash his chest.
Opening his mouth Arakan released a wave of crimson flames as it clashed against the light spears and Power of Destruction spheres creating a dust cloud.
"Azazel!" Michale exclaimed shocked as he saw Azazel drop to the ground under a single strike of Arakan's spear as he crashed on the earth with a small dust explosion following it.
"The power of destruction and the Light Spears we are using are doing little to no damage we might need to go up close" Sirzechs warned as Arakan just floated in front of them with his spear in his hands.
"he seems to be taunting us...it won't be easy after all Azazel was about our level with the balance breaker" Michale said as he created a blade of light with concentrated holy powers.
"I know but we have to fight for survival at the very least" Sirzechs stated with a heavy heart as created two blades with concentrated power of destruction.
"Close combat?" Arakan asked as casually dropped the Primordial Jade Winged Spear as two long swords appeared in his hands.
'Alice maintain the flames' Arakan commanded as two long swords got covered in it.
'You know we can end it faster with just your raw strength' Alice asked as she made the flame's holy aura stronger.
'It's not always about a mindless slaughter. It is about sending a message' Arakan responded as he casually blocked both of Sirzechs and Michale's blades
' Is that why you left the fallen leader alive as well?' Alice asked.
'Perhaps' Araka responded as another hand erupted from his back as it grabbed Azazel's Downfall Dragon spear by the head and held it firmly not letting him pull it back.
"The hell?" Azazel asked in shock as Arakan grew another limb and it seemed to be as strong as his other four. Azazel tried to struggle against Arakan's grasp but he was unable to even budge him a little.
Arakan made a forceful downwards slash from his long swords making Michale and Sirzechs flinch in response as they let go of their blades. Before they could back away Arakan grabbed the two of them and created a little twister by rotating his body throwing the three of them away.
"they are getting pushed back...the strongest beings of biblical faction are being pushed back and toyed with..." Rias muttered in pure disbelief.
"Kasumi! you are alright?" Sara asked as she noticed Kasumi walk from the rubble covered in soot with some minor injuries on display.
"yeah, as a Dragon I am naturally resistant to flames, Arakan should know about this as well," Kasumi said as she took Sara's shoulder as support to walk properly.
"It means that he himself is not ready to kill someone close even if the relationship was for less than three to four years he is not ready to kill someone close"
"Arakan has started to lose himself and is now on his way to fulfilling the dream Izana and Kakucho told him about in the only way he knows of through his overwhelming strength"
"We need to stop him before he goes too deep and loses himself completely and help him," Kasumi said with a firm belief in Arakan's will as she managed to stand by herself.
"Oi! Oi! Oi! Where do you think you two are heading off to?" Hanma yelled as he and Grayfia approached them.
"First you both refuse to side with him and are now trying to knock him off the path? don't joke here!" Hanma yelled as he rushed at the two of them and picked up the Primordial Jade Winged Spear that Arakan had let go.
"Let's Dance!! Kasumi!!" Hanma yelled as he swung the spear madly at her without having a proper form Hanma was unable to hit Kasumi with the spear but was able to keep her at bay.
"Sara! I will handle Grayfia and Hanma! you go and try to reason with Arakan!" Kasumi said as she grew some light blue dragon scales over her body and engaged against Grayfia.
"Sirzechs, Michale, Azazel...while the exchange was hilarious it is time to give in, my next strike will kill" Arakan declared as the other three could do nothing but grit their teeth and clench their fists.
"Giving up here is no better than dying!" Azazel yelled out firmly
"I see...in that case here have it back," Arakan said as he threw Azazel's Downfall Dragon Spear like a javelin that pierced his abdomen.
"crap!" Azazel exclaimed as he held on to his abdomen applying pressure on it.
"Language," Michale said as he prepared a wave of weapons of light.
"seriously! at this fucking moment? out of all the time in the world, you choose now" Azazel asked rather pissed at getting corrected.
"You know I should not be that guy however you should not chatter on a battlefield," Arakan warned as he appeared in front of them.
Without wasting a beat all three of them launched beams of concentrated mana that they were preparing since the start of the battle.
The beams immediately collided with Arakan's outer body creating a large dust cloud that covered Arakan's body
"and that was the money shot" Azazel commented with a grin as he, Sirzechs, and Michale created some space between themselves and Arakan.
The light beams Michale and Azazel scratched the head of Arakan's outer armor while the beam of Power of Destruction from Sirzechs destroyed a small piece of the armor on Arakan's shoulder.
"I see, you were concentrating energy and in the facade of talking shot me when I was least expecting," Arakan said calmly as the scratches of the beams disappeared within seconds.
"but it is time to end things completely," Arakan said as shadows below him started to expand. A giant claw with deep orange fur on it appeared from the shadows and held on to the rubbles of the Kuoh High.
"what in the name of Lucifer..." Sirzechs muttered.
"Dear father, the fuck?" Azazel questioned himself as the beast revealed itself from the shadows.
A gigantic nine-tailed fox-like beast with deep orange fur and razor-sharp claws. It stood over three hundred meters as it opened its jaw to reveal teeth sharp enough to rival a dragon
"RRAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" The beast roared loudly sending a massive shockwave in the surroundings blowing away the leftover rubble of Kuoh High turning it into flat ground.
"you like him? he is one of my proudest creating, Nine-tailed Fox- Kurama," Arakan said as he floated on the top of the fox's head and sat there.
A set of black strings that looked slime-like wrapped around Kurama's mouth shutting it. Kurama gave it no glance as he ripped through them and continued to roar in glory
"Arakan-sama! stop this madness this is not how we all know and love you!" Sara protested as she climbed Kurama using black strings and stood in front of Arakan.
"You are right Sara,"
"The Arakan you knew is dead and all that left is..."
"Garou!"
