Chapter 9: RENA DRAMA 1

Mike came out of the company some time later and just as Katherine was about to enter the drivers seat, Mike said, "Give me the keys."

Hearing that, Katherine was a little confused but she gave him the Keys anyway, "Sir is something wrong? Why don't you want me to drive?" she asked anxiously.

Upon seeing her anxious face, Mike smiled slightly before then saying, "It's late so it's safer if I drive." he said but that wasn't the full reason.

Firstly, he wanted to know where she lived and secondly, he wanted to have the car so tomorrow he could pick her up. What a sneaky man.

Nodding in understanding, Katherine then entered the car...she seat at the front since it would be a little weird for her to seat at the back and her boss at the front. It would seem like she was the boss and him the driver it secretary if you wanna put it.

With Katherine inside the car, Mike then entered and started the car before then driving off.

The ride was quiet all through, just as he turned the head to the left to look at Katherine, he was shocked to see her fast asleep.

She must have really been tired. Oh! man he was working his secretary really hard Especially on her first day.

He turned his head to look at her Again but upon seeing how she placed her head, he quickly stopped the car.

her seatbelt was loose and upon seeing that, he moved closer to her to get it fixed. He tried to place her head well so she won't have an head pain later.

As he tried to get it fixed, she turned her head to the other side and he stood still immediately. Their face were just few inches away from one another.

Now he could see her face up close. He had to say that her skin was really fair and milky and let's not forget that she smelled Soo nice.

Her lips were heart shaped with the color of pink, her lips color was natural, no lipstick just a slight tap of gloss.

Just then, Katherine opened her eyes and upon that, they both just stood still and looked at one another.

'Mike you idiot, you are so close to her face, she would think that you are trying to touch her while she was asleep' Mike thought as he was literally panicking.

Katherine just looked at him as she blinked twice. Just then she placed her head on him taking him by surprise.

'Was she still asleep' he thought little did he know that Katherine was a sleep walker, she she was in her room now, she would just suddenly stand up from her bed and start walking around.

Her eyes might be opened but her mind is completely asleep.

Seeing as she was still sleeping, Mike sighed in relive. He then stared at the woman resting on him, he also detested having any physical contact with anyone after all the nonsense Rena tried to pull just to get him to lay with her but for some reason, Katherine touching him didn't seem bad at all.

For some reason he felt more calmer and warmer, who was this woman and why did she like making him feel things that he had never felt before.

After the half an hour drive, Katherine finally woke up and she she directed him to her house. Although she was a little embarrassed to see that she had fallen asleep on her boss.

For some reason he wasn't upset or mad, he just brushed it off with a nice laugh and she smiled upon that.

Finally she was there, before getting down, she turned to Mike and said, "Ok Sir, I'll get going now...have a good night and thanks for the ride."

With that, she got down and walked towards her house. As she just stepped on a lawn, the door opened and her two twins came running towards her with ruby at their bag.

Katherine hugged them both tight as they all then went inside. Mike who was watching from afar as she interacted with her kids couldn't help but smile.

What an amazing mother she is, she deserves everything. A handsome and rich husband too, who would provide for her and her needs instead if her working her butts off.

But not everyone is blessed with Everyone. look at his wife who has everything, a beautiful daughter, a rich husband and a wealthy background but yet she didn't know how to cherish the things she had been blessed with.

Sighing, Mike started the car and drove off. After the long-nice drive, he finally made it to his house.

It was just 8:50 so it wasn't that late. Coming our if the car, he made his way into the house.

As he entered, he was greeted by some maids who were around and nodding to them, he went straight to his daughter room.

He entered and saw Kate with her, Annabella was asleep and Kate was patting her gently.

Upon seeing Mike, Kate said, "Sir you are back... welcome." She said as she quietly stood up from the bed as to not wake the sleeping beauty (Annabella).

"Sir madame is around, she is currently in her bedroom." Kate informed Mike.

Hearing that, Mike sighed. This was the exact reason he didn't wanna come home but now he had to face it, and anyway it was worth it.

To see Katherine sleep, to see her with her boys and if course knowing her address, it was a worth it.

"I'll go freshen up now." He said as he then, walked towards his daughter, kissed her on the forehead before then leaving for his room.
