Practice was over and so was cleaning up after everything that they'll need in the play, with only another two weeks away they'll have plenty of time to memorize and finalize everything so now-
"Okay so I heard from Lord Ein that we'll be needing to make an advanced potion that would help us in any way." The knight was kind enough to help her out in picking up Lady Serene's trash before getting into the next class.
Though with the sudden proposition of owing him a favor and that she needed to memorize every line in the play that he had was bizarre. She couldn't understand what he was thinking or even planning but as a token of favor she needed to agree.
"Lord Ein is really a weird character even if I managed to get rid of his masochistic side. I just don't know what to expect. I mean I'm just going to help him memorize a few things for the play, that's all." (Analissa)
Studying in another world has been a little smooth lately for the heroine, she's getting a grasp of all the worldly knowledge while being at school.
Analissa was reviewing in advance at lunch, eating alone in the cafeteria looking a bit puzzled with all the needed ingredients. "This is a simple potion of laughter, get anyone to drink this and they'll be laughing like there's no tomorrow. I guess there will be a practical exam on how to brew this."
"I should borrow the lab once in a while." She places a hand on her chin while holding the book, changing it into the next page. "Where would I even get the ingredients for this?"

"The next page will be the steps on how to brew it properly, but this isn't even an advanced potion… just in case I should start at a beginner's level." (Analissa) burrows her nose into the pages of the books.
Potion brewing should be a fun subject to have.

Meanwhile…
The villainess who was called out into the office surprised everyone by actually attending the meeting that was supposed to be a secret from her. She wasn't in a good mood after getting a tip that she's being isolated from getting any news about council meetings.
"He really wasn't tricking me, I really did have a council meeting I should've attended. It appears the letter has been misplaced again."
Lady Evelyn who has just gotten back from council duties was roaming around the cafeteria, seeing a familiar figure on the very corner she smiles.
"It's Miss Blanchet." Instantly her damper mood went away after seeing that ray of sunshine, she walked over to her direction with a sort of happy stride.
"Hmm… by the baby's tears, should I go around making babies cry or something?" (Analissa) was still busy reading that she didn't realize the villainess was right in front of her.
"Is this seat taken?" (Lady Evelyn) asks, she couldn't help herself to.
"Oh- it's you!"
The villainess chuckles having to see the blonde girl here in the cafeteria alone. "Yes, it's me, Lady Blanchet. Apologies if I wasn't around in the last morning classes after practice, something came up with some of the student council duties."
"Oh it's understandable. The life of a vice president of the student council can't be easy, come sit down with me if you'd like milady." She offered and Lady Evelyn sat down right next to her very quickly.
Everyone in the cafeteria were busy with their own lunch but their wandering eyes really couldn't help but notice two people from different worlds were sitting together looking like very good friends- to others they don't mind it, believing that the duchess is only looking for some sort of past time activity by being acquaintances with a commoner.
"It's them again, I see them more often now." A student not far whispers to her friend, head turning to see the duchess sitting with the famous uncommon girl in school.
"The duchess and the commoner girl?" She double checks to see if what she's seeing is not a hallucination.
"Isn't that grand? The two of them are sitting right next to each other and no one is making a fuss about it." The entire canteen was quiet, not interested in the rare sight to behold.
"Maybe they've become good friends?"
The other rolls her eyes hearing this, please ask if the duchess would ever become friends with a commoner who has nothing to offer. "Please, what good can ever come out of being friends with a commoner? There are hardly any other benefits to it even if she possesses a grand magical ability like light magic."
"..." Lady Evelyn eyes her books, looking around to see what kind of packed lunch she had but realizes that she isn't eating anything, just reviewing around with a potion brewing book. "Where is your lunch?"
Analissa glances to the side, she wishes to tell her that she doesn't really have a small kitchen to do that and the best she could do is a soggy sandwich for lunch. It really is hard living your new life here without any delivering order apps that you can easily get food with just a click of your phone.
"I don't usually pack lunches. I plan on eating my fill later at work." The Japanese excuses herself not knowing how to make a proper lunch meal.
The villainess frowns hearing that she'll skip lunch. She just recovered from getting sick, eating at least three times a day is important . "That's not good at all, your work is still hours away. You should eat Miss Blanchet, you're in the cafeteria after all. Why don't you order something?"
Analissa squints her eyes to see the list of menus and its prices that made her heart drop. It was so expensive.
She only has a little gold on her inventory, saving up is not easy because the dorm rent is going to also be a problem even with her current job. "Oh no- the food here is rather um… out of my budget."
"I'll be fine though, you need not to worry about me, milady." (Analissa) tries to assure Lady Evelyn who only shakes her head.
"If you'd let me. May I treat you to a meal?" (Lady Evelyn) stands up from her seat looking over at the menu. "There are a lot to choose from, you can tell me what you like."
"I have already troubled you a lot, your ladyship. Treating me to a meal is-" She couldn't finish her sentence after getting the villainess' puppy eyes, her purple hue shines and Analissa's knees went weak.
"..." (Lady Evelyn) did not realize she was guilt tripping the girl beside her and was unconsciously making cute little puppy eyes.
"Urk… You can't do that thing with your eyes everytime-"
"What eyes?" (Lady Evelyn) tilts her head rather cutely and that only made Analissa's heart pound.
Analissa almost banged her head into the book that she was reading but she just decided to give in to the noble woman's demands. "Alright but this is the last time, Lady Evelyn. You can treat me to a meal but it has to be the cheapest one that they have."
The villainess seemed to have grown a tail, for it is wagging happily because the girl has accepted her offer and that she'll eat. "That is good enough for me, as long as you eat."
"..."
…
Lady Evelyn leaves her seat, ordering a few 'cheap' student meals and waits for the lunch lady to serve it to bring it back to their table.
"I'll take the cheapest meal that you have but one that's filling please. I'll also take a few dessert cakes good for two." (Lady Evelyn) requests, and the lunch lady notes it all down.
Analissa sighs, staring at the villainess' back who changed her whole personality and has become even softer than before. She doesn't mind the new change, it's just that with this new change the plot may also change.
It's already taking effect in the first love route event with Lord Ein.
"Here you go, that will be fifteen gold coins." A tray full of food was placed in front of Lady Evelyn, she paid the needed fare and quickly went back to Analissa ignoring the stares and curious look the bystanders were doing. "It's a good thing lunch takes a whole hour. The lunch lady was rather fast on preparing everything, Miss Blanchet if you don't mind I also ordered a few desserts."
The sight of strawberry cake made the Japanese streamer swallow the lump on her throat, feeling famished and her cheeks were a little red. "Ahem, thank you."
Analissa sees her tray and blinks, feeling a sense of peculiar aura around them as Lady Evelyn places their food on the table including hers in a very sweet manner. "Here is a napkin and your water. Be careful of your steak, it's a little hot."
"Do you need anything else?" The purple haired girl asks softly as she sat down beside her once more, pushing Analissa's plate closer to her with a smile.
Analissa for some reason was really nervous with all the sudden sweetness she's been feeling in her stomach. "N-No I'm good."
'For some reason I feel like a spoiled girlfriend right now. Lady Evelyn would be a wonderful lover if she ever commits to someone, I could see her level of care when it comes towards her friends.' (Analissa) thought to herself as she placed the potion brewing book to the side and focused on the meal.
Remembering her manners, taking the fork and knife, cutting the steak which was filled with meat juice as its smell overwhelmed her hunger. "Mmm… this is absolutely amazing."
Analissa continued to cut and take another bite of the food they serve in this fancy smanchy cafeteria! No wonder it was so expensive! This must be high grade wagyu beef or something!
"..." (Lady Evelyn) enjoyed watching Miss Analissa Blanchet take a bite of her food and see her expression change to feeling super happy.
She also ordered the same thing, a steak and ate at her own pace. "I see you're studying potion making, for Professor Fraeya's class right?"
Analissa nods in reply, "I thought of studying early. I believe the professor is someone with high standards, if I can't even handle brewing a simple potion then I won't pass the practical exams in the future. I'm going to try and borrow the lab one of these days to practice brewing."
"Indeed, we also have our charm class and incantation class to study on. Not to mention our beast-keeping class." (Lady Evelyn) notes all of their major subjects that they should focus on.
"Oh yeah-! Speaking of beast-keeping class, how is the little egg doing on your side?" (Analissa) has been taking care of it occasionally, reading stories and singing it lullabies to sleep. She also borrowed a book from the library about how to properly take care of an egg.
"Our egg is in my dorm room and it's being taken care of by my maids at the moment. It'll be your turn soon."
"Mm, thank you. We really should think of a name for our egg when it hatches. It's due date for hatching should be after the play, right?" (Analissa) asks, rather excitedly hoping to make a new friend right after the school festival is hailed over.
"Yes, our exams are also right after the play. Have you already started studying?" (Lady Evelyn) already saw her reading in advance but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
The heroine is well known to be one of the top scorers in the school, not only is her magic valuable but she's also a smart woman to have gotten into the magic academy.
"Guk-" (Analissa) almost choked on her steak. Is this what school life is like?!
Even if there's a big shot of an event that they have to prepare for, their exams are waving right around the corner?!
"Yes, absolutely! I have studied very much! I love studying!" The blonde girl bragged, but deep inside she was crying.
