Chapter 2: Julia And Victor!

The next day.

Men and women employees bustled in and out of the Emerald Entertainment building. Today, the crowd was especially enormous as compared to the normal days because the boss of this great company, Victor Bush, was coming in person to meet the singers under the company working for years. He was also the Alpha of the famous Emerald pack filled with handsome and beautiful werewolves in entire America.

How could people not be excited to see him? He was probably the only cold and enchanting bachelor that managed to stay at the top list of most handsome werewolves for the whole five years. The most annoying thing was that he didn't care about it!

He never accepted interviews ever since he took up the CEO and Alpha post two years ago.

Never did he have a photoshoot before this position and even after it.

He never even showed his wolf form publically except for the eclipses every month! The reports would sneak into his private hotel room to take a shot and post it online!

After a lot of waiting, this person was making his first public appearance! How amazing!

Two ladies sitting on the couch in the lobby whispered among one another. The first lady showed her phone as she had a hint of excitement in her eyes. Her fingers frantically pointed at the rare picture on her screen. "Look at this! How sexy! This is the latest edition of Victory's werewolf! I purchased the picture very recently!"

The second lady's eyes widened as she glanced at the photo. Lights weren't on as moonlight descended on the window where a giant werewolf stood with his blue eyes shining bright at night. His cold and icy gaze stared deep into the camera as if he were about to pounce on it.

At the same time, his gaze revealed a slight sexiness that made anyone swoon over the gorgeous body of this werewolf. The smooth black hair on the body glistened even more as the Alpha werewolf stood just outside the window of a house.

The second girl stared at the pic for a long time without blinking. She squealed as she giggled. "Where did you buy it from?! Quick! Link!"

After they exchanged the link, they shut off the phone as the first girl whispered in a low tone, "He was never like this due to his teenage years."

"Like what?"

"Unapproachable. Cold. Indifferent. You name it!" The first girl was so excited that her eyes sparkled as she talked about that guy. "He was a playboy and had many girlfriends!"

"No way!" The second girl's eyes widened as she stared at her friend as if the latter had turned insane. "You're kidding!"

"I'm not! I recently met a person who had been acquainted with a classmate of Victor Bush during his high school days! He told me many, many things that I can remember for a lifetime!" The first girl's eyes squinted as a dreamy smile formed on her lips. "How good would it be if he became my mate!"

The second girl hit her friend. "Stop talking nonsense and tell me about his teenage days!"

Just as the first girl was about to open her mouth, they heard a loud cheer echoing outside. It attracted her attention as she glanced outside only to notice a beautiful girl with brown wavy hair wearing a sexy red dress coming out of her car.

The two girls' eyes widened even more. "It's Julia Sims!"

"How could I have forgotten about her?!" The first girl facepalmed herself and said in an excited tone, "She was Victor's ex-girlfriend!"

The second girl's eyes nearly bulged out of her sockets when she heard that. "What the f**k are you saying?! How's that even possible?! She's Julia Sims! She's only twenty-five, hasn't even developed her wolf yet, but became a famous singer after being in the field for ten years! Are you sure you're talking about the same Julia Sims?"

"Yes!" The first girl lowered her voice as she watched the girl in the red dress walking inside the lobby with a stern look in her eyes. Why did she feel like Julia was particularly annoyed today? "Look! She's even irritated! Look at her twitching brows!"

"Tell me everything."

The two of them gossiped, but the main protagonist of this talk had nothing to do with any of those rumors floating around. Even if she knew what others had just said, she would smirk and turn back.

There was a reason for her annoyance. It wasn't just because she was going to meet her formidable enemy. Nope.

The sole reason was that she was forced to wear a sparkling red dress! It reminded her of the first time Victor splashed the paint on her body! How infuriating!

When asked, her agent even put her hands in the air as if she were innocent. It was just humiliating for Julia to walk around in red!

Plus, the previous night's humiliating event was still not off her mind at all! She still remembered that man's cold, tanned, handsome naked body that seemed to have stuck in her consciousness deeper than ever! No matter what she did, she couldn't get rid of that memory at all!

F*ck, why did that damned man call her out of the blue instead of his personal assistants?! Had they died all of a sudden or what?!

Since he was her boss, he probably knew her number no doubt. But why her out of all of his employees?! What the fuck did she do wrong?! She was only a little celebrity in his company!

When the girl walking beside Julia saw the famous singer's anger increasing bit by bit, she gulped nervously and pushed a drink into Julia's hands. "Calm down, Jules. It won't be as bad as you think."

"Shut up!" Her assistant just knew how to make things worse for her! After last night, she didn't even know how to face that man. If she saw him, all she would remember was how sexy his naked body was! Ugh, she wanted to die right now!

The small assistant who had been working for years knew that Julia was bad-tempered. So she zipped her mouth and kept silent.

When they arrived in the hall, other singers were standing in a group. As soon as the personal assistant of Victor saw Julia entering the hall, she gave an 'okay' sign to the bodyguard standing at the door. The latter nodded and walked away.

For some reason, Julia's assistant felt a bad premonition in her heart. She pursed her lips as she glanced at the harmless smile of Victor's assistant, who stood at the center, surrounded by many singers. Then she glanced at Julia, who stood aloof and separated from the crowd as if she were a proud bird showing off her feathers.

Before she could even think about what that 'okay' sign meant, she heard the sound of footsteps echoing in the background. The assistant raised her head and glanced ahead only to see a young man in a black suit entering the room. His cold aura filled the entire place as his blue eyes looked everywhere, only to stop at Julia's face.

After a second, the corners of his lips curved up for a brief time before he regained his cold expression. Then he said with an expressionless face, "Julia Sims. Please, come with me."
