Chapter 79: So Warm

Anxi's smiley expression was short-lived after hearing his seemingly absurd request and she balled her hands into fist, how could he request something like that?

"Why do you want to sleep on my bed with me?" She asked while eyeing him cautiously and he noticed her suspicious gaze were flocking over him as though she could read his thoughts by staring that way.

Too naive!! Tsk! Tsk!

"I need a place to sleep." He stated matter of fact as though he was addressing the issue. Anxi rubbed the back of her neck while going over his request, there's actually a guest room in the house where he can actually sleep, why would he want to stay with her?

"What's wrong with the guest room?" She innocently asked, causing Xander to frown at her.
