Chapter 124: We were not alone, no

This place didn't have a concept of night.

Everything was dark, to begin with. 

But as my internal clock screamed it was getting time for a bit of rest-

The area around us turned slightly different.

As in, the land glowed- ever so slightly.

And there were more monsters-

Way more-

'So, you lots are nocturnal…'

Most of them as usual just avoided us-

But some-

Like that big large ox which was coming at us with breakneck speed- sure didn't.

"I got this-" I said- pointing my finger- "Tase!"

A prompt came up.

Yeah, no- I wasn't going to say that embarrassing shit again.

Thunder streaked in the air- and-

Rumble!

Bright!

Sizzle-

Smoke.

Thump!

The ox fell on its side- cooked.

I was of course checking my magic's potency. And so far, both Typhoon and Tase were really useful. I didn't use the rest though.
