Chapter 10: Yuck~ Smelly body

"Yi Yi, is there anything you probably didn't tell me?" Yi Hua says, biting her lower lip, growing furious yet concerned, her thoughts swirling around never to stop, making her head hurt.

"What happened, Hua? Why do you sound…so agitated?" Lin Yi speaks, her voice hinting to Yi Hua how confused she was, "Someone came by the door today…"

Yi Hua mumbles, clenching her palm while she holds her phone close to her ear, "Who? Why do you sound mad? I just got home and you should be asking if my travel went fine. If I ate something-"

"Just shut up, why did I not know you had a boyfriend? Oh sorry, have a boyfriend!" Yi Hua snaps, cutting Lin Yi in between, Yi Hua widens her eyes as she hears Lin Yi gasp, "What? Did you gasp? So…you have a boyfriend?!" Yi Hua screams, astonished and shocked.

"Actually, Hua…" Lin Yi trails on her words, unsure of what to say.

"You never told me about him…why? I thought we were never gonna hide anything in between us." Yi Hua asks, hurt and disbelief evident in her tone, "I…no, I wanted to tell you but it never lasted long and he didn't want anyone to know-"

"Anyone? Am I just anyone to you, now?" Yi Hua cuts Lin Yi in between her explanation, "No! It's not like that, Hua!" Lin Yi shouts, frantic with the thought of her hurting and offending Yi Hua.

"Then, why didn't I know about it? That guy is bad for you!" Yi Hua says, gritting her teeth as tears start brimming the edges of her eyes, in rage and pain, "I know, he is bad for me. I learned it the bad way…Hua. Later, I didn't want to tell you because it would affect you too and not only me."

Yi Hua heaves out a sigh, "He is looking for you, Yi Yi. What are you gonna do?" Yi Hua says, pushing aside the rest and focusing on the current issue, "He is? Don't tell me you gave him my information-"

"Are you crazy? Why would I do that? I said I used to know you but not now…he left. He said you are in a relationship…what is going on?" Yi Hua asks, frowning in suspicion and concern.

"No, we are not. It ended years ago, Hua. He is a bad guy…don't let him around." Lin Yi says, hurriedly and worried which caught Yi Hua off-guard, "What did he do to you?" Yi Hua couldn't help but question.

"He is a psycho, Hua. Stay away from him." Lin Yi says, Yi Hua heaves out a sigh, "I am sorry…" Lin Yi apologizes, Yi Hua pushes her hair back and thinks to herself, 'Why is he after her and not me?'

"Hua? Are you there? I am sorry, but don't be mad at me." Lin Yi begs, sniffing on the other side, "Hey, are you crying? No, I am not mad. I was just worried, okay?" Yi Hua says, trying to calm Lin Yi.

"You sure?" Lin Yi asks, "Yeah. Now, take good care of my aunt. Bring me lots of dumplings too, I already miss you." Yi Hua says, chuckling despite the tears, she ends the call with a warm goodbye.

But her mind wasn't assured, not even a bit.

Lots of thoughts invaded her mind, why would he be after Lin Yi? What changed?

"What do I do? What if he hurts her?" Yi Hua starts walking back and forth, her phone on the bed as she grips her hair, "Right, they can answer me." Yi Hua snaps, suddenly smiling.

"Yang Yang!!" Yi Hua shouts, looking around with a smile but her smile slowly fades off when she doesn't find anything happening, nor was anyone present around her.

"Yang Yang! H…Hua!" Yi Hua calls out loud, growing weird, "Did they leave already?" Yi Hua mutters, hanging her head low, edging close to the bed, and sitting on the side.

She pouts, "What am I gonna do? Did they disappear?" She bites her inner cheek, growing sad for an unknown reason, "Maybe I should have listened to her and not be such a bitch." Yi Hua mumbles, pouting sadly.

'Right, you should have realized that sooner.'

A voice speaks, startling Yi Hua, she gasps looking around but frowns seeing no one around her, "Did I just misheard?" Yi Hua asks herself, tilting her head and growing sad.

'I am inside you, idiot.'

Yi Hua smiles at that, " Right, we are the same." Yi Hua mumbles, chuckling. 'Glad you accepted that.' Yi Hua giggles, all of a sudden feeling so light and comfortable.

'Just go back with me and mend your life.' The voice speaks, Yi Hua frowns, pouting, "But-"

'I know you are scared but see…the present is getting messier as well.' The voice cuts her off, Yi Hua hangs her head low, listening calmly to her voice inside her head.

'You will never be at peace if you don't go back, because I ain't at peace, help me.'

"Fine, I will go back but I won't be alone, right?" Yi Hua asks, fiddling with her fingers, nervously.

'Of course not, Yang Yang will be there with you.' The voice responds, "And what about you?" Yi Hua asks, blinking her eyes.

'Me? I will be inside you just as always but you won't hear me. Instead, my memories, my knowledge, and everything will be with you.'

Yi Hua widens her eyes, "Oh, okay." She mumbles, smiling faintly. "But where is Yang Yang?" Yi Hua asks, looking around and trying to find the poor guy.

Suddenly a laugh resonates inside her head, 'He is out looking for his body which you threw away.' Yi Hua scrunches her face, "Eww! Don't you dare ask him to return back to that body! I threw it away in the dumpster!"

Yi Hua grosses out remembering how smelly and dirty the dumpster was, just the thought of it brought that foul pungent smell back to her nose, she grows annoyed as the laughter inside her head resonates louder.

"Stop! It's not funny!" Yi Hua shouts, shivering and making puck-ing noises, just then she smelt the same foul pungent smell from her memory, she looks around and found, Yang Yang climbing the window.

Yi Hua grows angry, "You!" She runs towards the window and flicks Yang Yang out of the window, with a painful meowl, Yang Yang lands on the ground and his essence separates from the cat.

"Ahh, it hurts!" Yang Yang screams in pain.

"Go and find something else! Not that body." Yi Hua shouts, glaring at Yang Yang, he pouts, caressing his cute little butts as he gets back into the body of the poor dead cat and runs away.

'This ruthlessness is what I am looking forward to in my past self.' The voice catches her attention, and Yi Hua widens her eyes, "Eh? I am not! That body smells and it's dead!"

Yi Hua complains, grumbling, she huffs and looks out of the window, "I really am not that…cold and ruthless." She murmurs, feeling offended.

"Aww~ Yang Yang, you look cute." Yi Hua says, cupping his new body cheeks, Yang Yang grumbles, still sad about how she threw him off of the window, "Don't touch me." Yang Yang walks away from her.

"Yah! I am sorry~" Yi Hua shouts, pouting.

'It's time.' The voice stiffened Yi Hua, "What? Already?" Yi Hua asks, bewildered and nervous.

"Okay." Yang Yang says, jumping off of the couch and standing by Yi Hua, Yi Hua was too shocked to reply, Yang Yang then wraps his white tail against Yi Hua's leg ready for the transmigration.

'Yang Yang, take good care of us.' The voice says, giggling, Yi Hua widens her eyes, and coming out of her daze, Yi Hua shakes her head, "No…" She mutters, she notices her surroundings going hazy.

"Stop, not yet-" She tries to move but she yelps when she disappears, landing on something strange, she hears a series of painful meowls, she looks around and then below her to find Yang Yang struggling to escape in pain.

"Move!" He shouts, Yi Hua widens her eyes and stands up, dusting herself while Yang Yang cries out, caressing his body and his tail, "You want me to die, right?!"

Yi Hua apologetically smiles, she looks away to avoid him but her eyes widen as she finds herself in an unknown land, "Where are we?" She asks, growing wary of her surroundings.

"Of course, in your palace-" His eyes widen, and a screech leaves his mouth as he sees the forest, actually a vast forest surrounding them.

"Don't tell me we are lost!" Yi Hua yells, terrified as she looks around.
