Chapter 260: First Mission

He noticed the curiosity and apprehensiveness in her voice, but to his relief she didn't sound angry. Her voice was like steel, and he could almost taste the ironic component of the compound blood in his mouth just listening to her voice which slid across the room, lingering in the air like the stench of blood outside which made him feel sick to his stomach. 

A voice in his head was telling him to run. Turn and run without looking back. Run far away from these people. But it was too late for him to even think of doing that, because he knew the next second he tried to run, he would die. 

"I brought him." He raised his eyes slightly to see Theresa staring at someone behind him, and that was when he realized the women had turned to the source of the dark aura In the room and he was yet to turn, still shivering, trembling.
