Chapter 118: The Developement

Rory kicked the rock on the ground as she ended the call with Liam. He was as confused as she was when she said that her grandmother wants him to not meet with the cops and stay with her.

He was not convinced even when she told him that uncle Leroy agreed with her. But then he agreed. He listens to her grandmother even when it does not make sense. Maybe that's why her grandmother likes him better than her.

"I don't want to talk to you anymore," Agnes waved her hand.

Leroy stood up with a smile. "Then I won't overstay my welcome. Please take care of your health," he said and walked out of the room.

He wanted to tell her that he takes back what he said earlier. But he didn't. 

Leroy could not control his grin as he stepped out. Rory came to him running.

"Uncle, won't the cops get mad if he avoids them? What if they try and~"
