Chapter 112: He Really Didn't Do Things Halfway

"Does your brother like your snake?" Gwen asked curiously. She knew some people were afraid of them but she had no feelings about them one way or the other. 

Hunter laughed. "Oh, he loves her. He used to think I was crazy for wanting a snake but once he saw how chill she was and how cool it felt to hold her, he ended up going out and getting a California kingsnake. 

"His name is, rather ironically, Fluffy. Darius has an interesting sense of humor. They're super tight though. Fluffy likes curling around his arm while he types since he works from home. Snakes are very misunderstood creatures. They make great pets but they're a real commitment because they live twenty to thirty years in captivity."

Gwen hadn't known that about snakes. Fluffy was a weirder name for a snake than Princess but not by much. She had to stifle her laughter about that too. 

"How long has Princess been with you?"
