Chapter 477: It Made Things More Interesting

Addison was right about Jacob needing to be better about talking about personal stuff. Half of his friends teased him about finally getting himself a girlfriend. The other half (including Noelle, who was a die-hard romantic) thought it was adorable. Everyone was happy for him and agreed she fit in well, even if Derek did preface it by saying he sucked. 

That made Jacob laugh. He had said something very similar when Becca moved in with Darius and stopped having to work because they were no longer in the same boat. 

"Good for you though," Derek was sure to add. "I'm glad things worked out for one of us at least."

So was Jacob. It all still felt like a dream. 

Addison fell back into his life as if she had never left it. Even his family didn't ask too many questions, which was surprising. They all knew and liked her so they didn't care too much about how it happened.
