Chapter 539: She Was Proud To Be Like Her

Rachel was relieved when she finished her second year of college and got more of a break. She had mornings to herself before her usual shift at work and a bit more time afterward before band practice during the week. 

She was able to spend time with her family and Dana that way. She participated in a lot of the activities her mom did with her siblings to keep them occupied during the day and had fun doing it. 

Preparing for the album was fun too. They managed to finish it all faster than anticipated so there was more than a month left of the summer where they could all focus simply on having fun. Toby and Alyssa wanted to go to Coney Island one day and Rachel was apprehensive because that was where she had been kidnapped from and she hadn't been back in all that time. 

Felix said she didn't have to go and that they could do something else but she wanted to overcome her fear. It didn't end up being so bad.
