Chapter 71: Sparring Session (Part 2)

I want to kill him. Right. I should just kill him. The nerve of this guy! The audacity!

I glared at him and attacked him with all my might. Perhaps because of my anger, a sudden spurt of energy came from within me.

Hours passed, and finally, our sparring, aka training, was finally done. I still haven't perfected the new skill, but at least I was able to do it correctly several times. That's a significant improvement, given how complex it was.

After that, we proceeded with our earlier agreement—a contest in shooting. We rested a bit before continuing, but I still felt tired. The sparring earlier was too much. Still, it was my fault for being tired. I couldn't possibly use it as an excuse to delay our deal. It's shooting anyway, I should be able to win. I had higher stats than him in shooting.
