Chapter 48: Trust You

Yren walked slowly up the stairs with Ginny sleeping peacefully. He had placed her staff in his inventory since he wouldn't be able to carry it, but there was another problem.

"What is wrong with my sister?!" Kimora shouted as Yren walked out carrying her limp body in his arms.

"Sssh! She is just sleeping from Rank Exhaustion. She was able to reach Rank four on her first day all by herself, so she is very tired," Yren said as he walked over to Kimora, then said, "I will bend down, and you can climb on my back, okay?"

"I can walk!" Kimora whispered, and Yren sighed but nodded.

"Okay, let's get going then," Yren said, and started walking at a slow pace.

Kimora came up to walk beside him, but after five minutes of walking, she started to fall behind. He could hear her growling in frustration, so Yren slowed his pace.
