On a remote part of White Tiger City, Zephyr was targeted by a kick from a man. With his current stats, he had no problem avoiding it. Seeing Zephyr had avoided his attack by just taking a simple side step, the man continued his attack.
He rushed towards Zephyr and targeted his neck but it was no avail as Zephyr avoided with an disinterested expression.
Earlier, while Zephyr was still strolling around the city, he decided to go to an auction house. To avoid the crowd, Zephyr decided to use a route that doesn't have many people. On his way, Zephyr encountered the second legendary class player and he was humbly challenged to a duel.
Of course, Zephyr refused as he saw no merit in doing so. However, Ericson's curiosity about the strength about the number 1 player cannot be rid so easily which led Zephyr to the current circumstances.
Seeing that the opponent was still a level 17 and tier 0 at that, Zephyr didn't took the duel seriously as the gap in level and tier was massive.
Ericson then send a kick to knock Zephyr, followed by a strike from the elbow and knee to deal more damage. Seeing Ericson's relentless combos, Zephyr was impressed at the Zeke's Successor Class as he could sense that every attack was deadly but that was it.
"What a drag."
Hearing Zephyr's disinterested words, Ericson increased his ferocity. Zephyr sighed seeing Ericson's attack, without letting the attack reach him, Zephyr shifted his body, taking a step forward as he stretched his left leg and pushed Ericson.
"Kuhhaak!"
Zephyr had just used the force from Ericson's movement to make him fall down to the ground. Without even using his hands, Zephyr won the duel in a single exchange.
This result shocked Ericson as even he knew Zephyr was a higher level than him, Zephyr didn't even made use of his high stats to defeat him but as if he knew what course of action he was gonna do.
It was to be noted that Ericson wasn't simple either. He was an undisputed martial arts genius yet Zephyr had easily defeated him. The moment he challenged Zephyr, he knew that he would be defeated as Zephyr was already a Tier 2 but he thought it would take time for him to be defeated.
He didn't expect that Zephyr would beat him so easily. His eyes widened at the thought of being defeated without even able to land a single touch on Zephyr.
Suddenly he heard Zephyr's indifferent remark.
"So you use Martinez style Martial Arts."
"H-h-how do you know that? ? ?"
After hearing Zephyr mentioned the Martinez style Martial Arts, a look of shock covered Ericson's face. Even though Martinez style Martial Arts was hailed the strongest compared to the other styles which made the Martinez clan become the number one Martial Clan, that should only be known by martial artists.
Who would have thought that there would be someone in a game that would recognize it. Ericson's face became serious as he spoke.
"Which clan did you perhaps came from?"
Hearing him, the leaving Zephyr turned around and look at Ericson and said.
"I don't belong to any clan."
Zephyr stated with his monotone voice but that only shocked Ericson
"You don't belong to any clan? That's impossible. That!"
As he was about to rebuke that it wasn't possible for a non martial artist to know, something flashed into his mind. He then stutters as he said in a shaky voice.
"Don't tell me...you're a...product of that facility."
Zephyr narrowed his cold eyes after hearing that. He didn't expect to hear that from the mouth of Ericson. Seeing Zephyr's response, Ericson took that as an affirmation.
Ericson flinched in the sudden change in Zephyr's demeanor. Even his face remained indifferent, Ericson could sense that he now caught Zephyr's interest.
"I thought it was strange for the name Zephyr to be the number one player."
Ericson spoke in a serious manner.
"Now that I confirmed your from that facility created by that man. It wouldn't be strange if you could dominate the Tensura's Star Rankings. Am I right Zero's Masterpiece?"
"I'm surprised your quite informed."
Ironically to what he said, Zephyr responded in an expressionless manner as he was not surprised on what Ericson was saying.
A secret facility that had not been disclosed to the public. It wouldn't be strange that from a clan of martial artists would know its existence as they had also hidden their clans in the public.
As the genius of his clan, Ericson heard from his elders and clan patriarch what kind of facility was that. It was the goal of the secret facility to have children be nurtured and raised with a complete education straight from birth.
The facility might be hidden but for those who knew its existence feared it to the extreme. Unlike the Martial Arts Clan who only pursued martial arts, the secret facility teaches many different fields like the liberal arts, sciences, martial arts, self-defence techniques, and a myriad of worldly wisdom, all of which are at or above the tiers of professional level.
The secret facility was known that every children that was nurtured in there was a monster as even a single one of them could defeat a known expert in martial arts and in any other fields.
Yet now, Ericson who was called a Martial Arts genius was now facing the best and strongest in that facility. Zephyr Lexus, known as Zero's Masterpiece. It was due to the undeniable fact that he was the best in there.
As Ericson was in deep thought, Zephyr's nonchalant voice woke him up from his daze.
"Now then, what are gonna do about it?"
Hearing it, Ericson decided to follow Zephyr even being his subordinate as he wanted to learn from his as he knew, even being called as a genius, he was very lacking compared to the one standing in front of him.
Ericson paused for a while before he replied. He then bowed at Zephyr as he requested sincerely.
"I want to surpass you. That's why, let me follow you!"
Seeing the determination in Ericson's eyes, Zephyr simply stated.
"I see."
Zephyr then turned around as he left Ericson. He doesn't really care if somebody knew about his past as he can't do anything about that. Seeing Zephyr's leaving figure, Ericson shouted.
"Wait!"
Ericson rushed towards Zephyr as he decided to follow him. Just like Zephyr, he was also a newbie in terms of gaming as he was sheltered in his clan to only practice martial arts but that was changed when an elder introduced Tensura in their clan that they could fight inside the game.
As Zephyr and Ericson moved, Zephyr glanced at Ericson and thought in his mind with eyes that was devoid with any emotions.
'A chess piece has been acquired.'

Arriving in the auction house, Zephyr then decided to dispose his items that he no longer needed. Not knowing that the receptionist was shocked to the core seeing the items he putted.
'Is these equipments from the Seraphs?'
The 'Land of the Seraphs' or known to be Elysia, was famous throughout in Tensura. But that was only known to fairy tales as it has been long since the seraphs were seen.
As a transcendent race, the Seraphs were famous as they were a race that was admired by the many as they were very powerful. However, as time passes when the seraphs secluded themselves, the seraphs were believed to only exist on fairy tales.
The receptionist thought in her mind as Zephyr decided to dispose of his Blitz Set. Now that he was already a Tier 2, it's effect on him has disappeared as it was only a Tier 1 set.
Ericson on the side of Zephyr who remained watching remained silent as he had no idea about the rarity of Zephyr's item. Just like Zephyr, they didn't know that the items would cause the players frenzy and crazy if they discovered these equipments.
Taking the final item in his inventory, Zephyr then noticed Ericson who remained silently standing with no interest on the items, Zephyr then threw an earrings at Ericson. It was the legendary item 'Orias Earrings'.
"Here catch this."
Ericson reflexively caught the earrings. Seeing the discription, Ericson just nodded at it. As a newbie at gaming, Ericson didn't knew the value of a legendary item as all he knew was martial arts. For short, he was just like Zephyr when the game had just begin.
Equipping it, Ericson bowed in gratitude as he humbly accepted the gift of Zephyr. After glancing a while in the enterior of the auction house, Ericson then spoke what on his mind.
"Brother Zephyr, where are we going next?"
"Now that you said it..."
Zephyr unconsciously replied with his monotone voice as he glanced around at his body. Noticing that he only had a beginner's outfit after selling the Blitz set, Zephyr then decided to visit Agur.
Zephyr then left the auction house without replying to Ericson but the latter didn't mind it either as he just followed Zephyr. On their way, Ericson glanced at the Auction House as a sudden thought came to mind.
"Brother Zephyr, did you know about this party system?"
Zephyr then fell into a thought as soon as he heard it. It would be a lie if he said yes as he had only been to a party once.
"Not really."
"I thought so."
Ericson didn't argue about it as he was also the same. Since the release of Tensura, he had been playing solo ever since.
"Then do you perhaps want to be in a party with me?"
Zephyr asked Ericson without glancing at the latter as he focused his eyes on the road. Hearing him, Ericson humbly said.
"If that's okay with you."
Zephyr then called out the system panel and searched for the party function. It didn't took a while after Zephyr found it. Suddenly, a system prompt appeared in front of Ericson.
[Player Zephyr has invited you to the party.]
Curiously reading it for a while as he was seeing it for the first time, Ericson accepted without hesitation.
[You have accepted.]
[Distribution for experience points and others has been set equally.]
"So this is what happens."
Ericson murmured after knowing what it feels to be in a party. To be exact, he feels nothing and just decided to stay silent and follows Zephyr.
It didn't took a while for them to arrive at the ragged smithy of Agur. Before entering, Zephyr knocked the door as they then heard.
"Go on, its open."
Opening the door, Zephyr saw Agur who was lying on the couch as he faced Zephyr.
"Oh what do we have here?"
Agur held an amused expression seeing there was someone who tagged along with the loner Zephyr. As far as Agur knew, Zephyr was the type of person who had zero connections or have any relations to other people.
For him, this was a rare sight. Zephyr ignored it as he silently entered followed by Ericson who was curiously looking around.
"Did you come here for an armor?"
Agur asked Zephyr seeing he had no currently equipped armor. Hearing the dwarf, Zephyr then nodded. Agur then pointed at the side of the smithy a pile of armors.
Turning in the direction where Agur was pointing, Zephyr found several equipments that was neatly piled. He then picked one armor and inpected it before turning to the rest.
