Matthew
Fingal's Cave
Staffa Scotland
Matthew took a step inside the cave. Surrounded by lava that has long solidified a long time ago, Matthew eyed the hexagonal columns that became the walls of the cave.
Mysterious yet deadly.
The sound of the sea kissing the sharp column echoed inside.
Despite the darkness, Matthew languidly walked along the sharp rock-like structures, his footsteps light, his hands on his back. It was as if he was just taking a stroll inside his own place.
How long has it been since he visited this place?
In the past, this was nothing but an island of rocks avoided by sailors and travelers. Right now, the place has become the top tourist spot in the islands of Scotland.
Still, he couldn't see anything that changed.
A thousand years.
A long thousand years and the place was still as beautiful as when he left.
