A phone bussing on the bag while it vibrates before someone picks it up answering a call from someone.
" lael give me a sec alright, aunt Celine called and stay here also don't play far away on the playground. " carol said a high school teenager, ( the one who babysits lael in chapter 2 ).
" ok, lael will stay here. " lael said while playing in the sandbox, when carol disappear from her sight she then ran towards the playground fence while trying to fit in, and for about a few seconds lael now entered the forest part of the playground and without further ado, she then ran half deeper in the forest so she won't get lost or something.
" Now let's practice. " lael said before she transformed the bracelet into a wrist dagger with the same unknown symbol on the lower part of the weapon.
lael then look left and right before finding the right tree to practice with.
without even saying a word she then proceeded to thrust in and out into the tree leaving large scratches on it that might make the tree fall. and after how many hours had passed lael then pause and take a pocket watch inside her pocket widening her eyes.
" It's already 5 and it's almost past 6 pm, so that's why I can hear police sirens around in the area, I thought it was a police passing by but Nah." I thought and hurriedly ran towards the fence and fit myself into the small hole.
before a voice of a male shouted getting
everyone's attention.
" she's here," he said helping me get out of the fence after that I then feel a dark aura coming its way to me and the figure appears to be mom without saying anything she then pinches my ear dragging me to the middle of the playground.
" lael where have you been, you don't know how worried I am after you went missing. " Celine said angrily with a little worried tone.
" I apologise mother it's just that... I just help a baby rabbit that got stuck on a tree so I went in and help it. " I said looking at the ground.
sigh* " just don't do it again alright. " Celine said before hugging lael tightly
" yes mom, sorry for getting you worried. " I said back giving her a hug on the neck.
" yes lael, forgive mommy for suddenly shouting. " Celine said before giving lael a peck on the checks.
" Everyone thanks you for your cooperation, you all are now free to go. " a woman said I then turn around and see the same policewoman who help mom get up on the day my sword was bought.
" the hell, is she stalking my mother, and if that's right then she has no shame. " I thought with anger while frowning at the woman.
" thank you again for the help officer Olivia. " mom said bowing slightly.
" no problem madame you can call me anytime. " officer Olivia said blushing while rubbing the back of her neck.
" tch.... " I let out loud that they can hear, mom then looks at me.
" lael don't be like that. " mom said smiling before I noticed that his lips are twitching, and I know that she is pissed.
" now then officer Olivia we will take our leave. " mom said while bowing slightly.
" eh...madame how about I take you and lael home, I'm just worried because of the high crime rate at night. " Olivia said suggest.
" oh my is that so then I and lael will gladly accept your offer, miss Olivia. " mom said after taking my hand letting me in first in the police car.
sitting inside then mom did the same before the engine started.
" Madame may I ask something if you don't mind. " Olivia said after stumping at the pedals.
" Sure, ask anything. " mom said smiling while combing my hair with her hand.
" Can I ask who is lael's father, I...I know I cross the line...you don't need to answer me. " Olivia shuttered feeling embarrassed for what she said.
" no need...since I wanted to learn to open up my feeling to someone, my husband's name is larry simons in the past he is just a regular, honest, and the happiest man alive after he knew that I am pregnant but the unforgiving happened when I'm giving birth to lael, he died because of a road accident when he's driving his way to the hospital....after the tragedy I then went to make living so I can feed lael. " mom said, of course, she said it's not true while Olivia who is driving sure taking it seriously since I have been hearing sobbing in front of the car for quite a while.
after a dramatic long drive we finally arrived, after the car stop I then hurriedly ran towards the front door waiting for mom to unlock it.
" thank you for escorting us back miss Olivia. " mom said before she turned her back walking her way towards me, while Olivia who is still standing waved at me and after I noticed it I just frown then look in the other direction before giving up and wave back and after she receives it she just smile before going into the police car driving her way to the neighbourhood.
after mom finishes unlocking the door she then goes to the kitchen to make our dinner after telling me to rest for a while I just nod walking my way to the living room before laying down and closing my eyes for a bit.

" lael dinners ready. " Celine shouted, before receiving a silent atmosphere she just sighs walking her way to the living room, before she noticed a sleeping lael on the couch, noticing it she just smile while caresing lael's hair before she slowly lifts lael gently in her arms then walk her way to the child's room.
then finally lael is now sleeping peacefully in her bed, just then Celine kisses lael's forehead wishing her good night before she turns off the lights and closes the door
