Chapter 1: INVITED
When reaching home, Ethan arrives during family dinner casting a glance and turning away to head to his bedroom but was stopped my Louis Lu. Ethan's father. "welcome home son. How was the board meeting did everything go as planned?" Mr Lu inquired.
"It's s under control" Ethan muttered coldly before making his way up the stairs,but was interrupted again by Elina Lu. Ethan's mother
"Won't you have dinner son."
Looking at his mother. "I already did mom." he sternly said.
Paying no heeds to his indifferent attitude. "Fine then if you come across Axel on your way inform him that dinner is ready." Mrs Lu instructed.
Walking away from them Ethan headed straight for his room. Upon arriving he strutted straight into his walk-in closet pulling off his suits and pants, headed for the bathroom turning on the shower. He let out an audible sigh as the water hit him. Within 20 minutes he was done with the shower coming out with a towel wrapped around his waist with water droplets rolling down from his slightly wet hair to his properly toned chest down to the V line beneath the towel, with a smaller towel in his left hand wiping his hair seductively slow.
After putting on his PJ ready to head to bed but was interrupted by the vibrating sound of his mobile he moved to the side table and picked up the phone, seeing a message sent my his assistant Mr Fu. He instantly clicked on it. seeing the documents of the acquisition of Zhang Group he let out a smirk, putting away his phone he got ready for bed.

At the dinner hall
Mrs Lu let out a worried sigh.
Glancing at her Mr Lu asked "You are worried about your eldest son right?"
Mrs Lu nodded slowly
"You don't have to worry too much as long he is doing pretty well in the company and other things he should prevail in we shouldn't have to worry so much."
Throwing a frown at Mr Lu. "Really? that's just what you care about, about business? have you ever thought of your son's life? Will he ever find happiness or what makes him happy have you? Mrs Lu inquired sadly.
"It's s not like that Elina....."
Giving a sharp look to Mr Lu, Mrs Lu interrupted.
"It's what exactly huh? can't you see how our family always has this gloomy atmosphere surrounding it?. I don't like it not even a bit you know, I.." she said while tears slowly streamed down her cheeks.
Letting out a sigh Mr Lu apologized " I'm very sorry Elina I shouldn't have said that it was wrong of me as a father"
Sobbing while trying to wipe away the already existing tears Mrs Lu slowly muttered. "it's ok I guess I'm just too paranoid because of his attitude he has been like that since childhood I just find it uncomfortable that's all" she said sobbing.
An uncomfortable silence enveloped them both. After some minutes Mr Lu brought up the topic about the end of the year celebration at the company. Handing over he's tablet to Mrs Lu showing her the invites of the year gala to seek her approval.
Seeing no guest that she would be displeased with she handed over the tablet back to Mr Lu with a slight frown on her face. "Louis I didn't see the yang's in the guest list is the any mistake? " confused Mrs Lu asked.
"Oh no Lina the yang's don't need an invite to the company gala celebration we are family. But they will be there not as guests but our number one business partner and family friend." Mr Lu explain with a cheerful smile on his face.
"Yeah I didn't even ring Elena to inform her to make sure kamlyn attends this one, I really miss that bundle of joy " elina stated excitedly completely forgetting her sadness a moment ago.
"Yeah I miss her too." Mr Lu said joyfully as well,
"I wish at least one of our sons can be like her. Speaking of our sons where is Axel, I didn't see him come down for dinner. Is he even back yet ? Mrs Lu complained.
"Come on let's go to bed and Leave the kids to themselves I don't want them to be the end of you." Mr Lu said jokingly trying to lift his wife mood.
With a smile Mrs Lu follow him to the bed room.
