Chapter 30: A Scent of The Fated Mate

"The sky has been redder than four years ago," the king comments as he looks up. The crimson moon continues to illuminate the sky.

Moans get louder every minute and the mist of pheromones is scattered in every corner of the Concubine residence.

Walking on the empty road where all the wolves hid inside their rooms, the king looks around at each pavilion.

The wolves have been doing their duties for this evening, unaware of his presence—unless he will grab their attention from his royal guard. 

For the first time since he took over the throne, he, the current Alpha King, is dressed in his royal robe for this occasion.

He no longer needs to conceal his appearance as now is the right time.

But due to this, it only worries his royal guards in tow from a short distance. 

The mantle he's wearing represents his royalty in the country. It has been passed through generations of his family.
