Chapter 142: Lucas' Explanation

Eva tilted her head and tore off a piece of bread to place in her mouth. She waited patiently for Lucas to explain.

"Where do I start?"

Lucas scratched the back of his head and thought back to the day they separated in the Capital. Eva picked something else from the basket to munch on.

"After I left the Capital I returned to the elf city. I met a healing master there. She taught me many things. While I was learning, I took on quests that she and the blacksmith wanted."

Now that he thought about it they had really sent him to dangerous places, requesting rare materials that almost no one could get. They said that it was to help him, but he thought it was mostly to get their hands on the rare items.

"After I had completed enough of their endless requests I was approached by the Elf Council. They are a group of elders that make decisions for the elves in this country."
