Chapter 45: Am I going to be super-rich now?

When Liu Si Si came out after getting ready, Yun Meiyi was no longer alone in the room. Beside her stood a woman with a poker face. Her expression looked like it was made of steel because not even the crease of any emotion could be seen on her face.

All the time they had the breakfast, not even for once did she feel as if the woman would say something in favor of food or anything. Sitting at the table while having the food she looked like nothing but a robot who was devoid of any emotion. She would discuss a few things with Meiyi every now and then. But that was all. Except that, nothing interesting came from her mouth.

Not able to take the silence any longer, finally Liu Si Si spoke, pressing an appreciative smile over her lips. "Yi Yi cooks the best. Don't you think the same, Ms. Xiao Xiao?"

Yun Meiyi paused at her words. Looking up at her friend, her brows got raised. But Liu Si Si remained all nonchalant to it. Staring at the other woman, she looked like she was waiting to hear her reply.

Xiao Xiao also looked up. Without any change on her poker face, she nodded politely and said, "It's good." And then went back to her food.

Liu Si Si couldn't help but pout at her two words reply. Was it that tough to speak more?

Yun Meiyi couldn't help but smile. She knew what Liu Si Si wanted to do. But if she would have asked her this, she would have refrained. After all, she knew Xiao Xiao well. No matter whatever would be the question, she would be up with her best short reply. Speaking much was not her nature.

"I am done. Once you two are done, we can leave." Yun Meiyi said, wiping the corner of her lips elegantly. And just as she said, Xiao Xiao was first to stand up to say.

"Ms. Yun, I am done."

Liu Si Si, who was still enjoying her breakfast, blinked her eyes at her and turned to look at Yun Meiyi. Without any doubt, Meiyi was looking her way as well. Pouting her lips, she couldn't help but sulk, "Yi Yi, I am liking the taste of the food. Can't we enjoy a bit more of it?"

Yun Meiyi shook her head internally and said, "Complete it. We will wait for you outside. Once you are done, come out and we can leave." Saying that she pushed her chair and stood up before walking back to the living hall with Xiao Xiao following behind.

Outside, after discussing a few more things, Xiao Xiao's phone beeped with a text. When she checked it, she turned to look back at Meiyi to say, "Ms. Yun, Dr. Collins would be arriving in the city soon. As you have asked, I have booked an appointment for you."

At the mention of the doctor, Yun Meiyi paused for a moment, but soon after she nodded. "Fine, I will go and check with him once he is in the city. Until then don't mention this to anyone, especially Si Si."

Xiao Xiao hesitated at first, but in the end nodded, agreeing with the lady.

Soon, the three people left the place to reach Feathering Heights. When got down through the elevator, Liu Si Si was first to get stunned by the sight that greeted her when the elevator door opened.

"Oh my gosh! Yi Yi, can you see that Aston Martin standing there?" She exclaimed as rushing out she went to circle around the ash-gray car with admiration. "Ah, Yi Yi, you won't believe it. This car is enough to speak of luxury. I am saying I would become a fan of the person who owns it. This color and design are simply out of the world."

Knowing how fond her friend was of the cars, Yun Meiyi couldn't get caught up in her words. Instead, she turned to look at Xiao Xiao, who quickly handed her the keys. "Ms. Yun, I felt this was the best for you. Here are the keys. And if you want, I can also arrange a driver for you."

Yun Meiyi shook her head. "It's okay, I have learned to drive. I will manage on my own. Come and sit first. We should leave." She said and pressing the button on the car keys, she unlocked the doors of the car.

Liu Si Si looked at her with amazement. But before she could speak more, Yun Meiyi gestured for her to get inside. "Si Si, get in first. We have the whole day to talk. For now, we need to reach the company first."

She said, and Liu Si Si didn't delay in getting inside the car. But when she didn't see Xiao Xiao getting inside the car along with them, she asked, "Won't she be coming along?"

Yun Meiyi looked out of the window to give a nod of approval to Xiao Xiao before replying to Si Si, "She won't. She has got other work and arrangements to do. So, we would be going alone to the Feathering Heights."

"Arrangements?"

Yun Meiyi turned to look at her and hummed. "Didn't you say that you want to have some shares of Golden Heights? I asked her to arrange it for you." She said before starting the engine.

While Liu Si Si was all struck dumb. Blinking her eyes, she went silent as she tried to digest the words of Yun Meiyi. "Yi Yi, am I going to be super-rich now?"

"You can if you work hard. So, fighting!"
