Chapter 4: Happy Birthday to YunYun & Me
A few days later it was YunYun's birthday and I helped get everything set up, as well as hold dad down so he wouldn't run off because he has work.
"But I have things to take care of!" My Dad protested as I had him pinned down to the floor.
Due to my training and increasing my overall physical attributes even as a 5 almost 6 year old kid I'm still stronger than my dad since he thought the great idea to put all his skill points into INT and MAG and barely any points into STR.
You may look at him and his Physique and think he looks somewhat strong, those aren't muscles but fat that bulks him up to make him look strong when he really isn't.
Basically he's a ceramic cup painted to look like it's made of metal, comes off strong in front of everyone else in the village, but both me and YunYun know he has never worked out a day in his life.
"I see… so work means more to you than your own daughter, some dad you are." I say as I begin to guilt trip him.
"What?! No! You and YunYun are the world to me Ryuu!" He says trying to defend himself.
"Hooo? You know when parents are away from there kids to much they start to turn into delinquents you know?"
"What?! YunYun would never-"
"Do that? If I wasn't around to take care of her maybe she would being left alone all the time by you." I say as I take my sword and grind the tip on his skull.
"Ugh! Stop that!" He says trying to struggle out to no avail, luckily YunYun was off getting some things for the party so she wouldn't see this.
"Dad, one day I won't be there to protect her all the time, and with her innocent personality who knows what bad men would do to her when she gets older, you've told us before that mom was beautiful so if YunYun takes after her…" hearing up to that part he stops struggling as he realizes something.
Suddenly getting a fire lit in him, with all his strength he got out from under me and stood up as he looked at me with a fire in his eye as he kneels and puts his hands on my shoulders.
"I'll make sure to watch over her from now on! I'm not letting some sleaze bag get his grubby fingers on my daughter! Don't worry Ryuu! I'm gonna be around more often for both you and YunYun!"
I smile at him, "That's great dad, just don't over do it okay? We can't spoil her too much or she will come to resent you for that as well, alright."
He smiles back and pats my shoulders, "I'm glad I got such a smart son like you around…. Though are you sure about becoming a Magic Swordsman and not an ArchMage? You would make an excellent Village Chief when you grow up if you just chose ArchMage instead." He says trying to convince me from a different path.
"Dad, you know that I'm better at swords than everyone else in the village, as well as being a great mage as well, so why not merge the two, plus isn't it cool, I, Ryuuken! Am the only Magic Swordsman in all of the Crimson Demons in the last 5 generations since the last one, the great Nishikienrai who also was a great ninja as well!" I say being very adamant that what I'm doing is different but also cool, and being cool is a big thing for everyone in this village.
"Haaa… Alright do as you will, just until you leave this village, look after your sister okay?"
"You got it dad! I'll take care of her until we're older."
"Good, but I really have to go, not for work... but I forgot to get her a gift….."
*Stare*
"…."
*Staaaaaaarrrreeee*
*Sweating* "....."
*Staaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeee*
"Alright! Alright! I get it! I'll get her an amazing gift to make up for it alright?!" He shouts not able to handle my judging stare.
"Good, but you better hurry, YunYun Will be back soon, after we get her new frienemy over we're gonna start the party, so get going!"
He saluted to me, "Yes sir!" He shouts before running off.
"Yare yare, what a handful of a dad I have." I shake my head as I go back inside to set up the rest of the party.

"Happy Birthday YunYun!" Me, Dad and Megumin said together celebrating YunYuns birthday.
YunYun got a bit teary eyed before she wiped her tears away and smiled, "Thank you everyone for being here for my birthday!"
"Cmon YunYun, let's get through your gifts so we can eat cake!" Megumin shouted out as she wiped away the drool from her mouth.
"Okay, Okay, let's go through the presents then." She says as she pulls over the two small boxes and one large box.
"Open the two small ones together, me and Megumin got those together after all." I say with a smile.
Soon enough she opened them up, one being mine with a Red Prinny while the other one was a plush ice sprite from Megumin.
"Awww! There so cute!" She said clearly loving them, after playing with them for a bit she then put them down to open her last present from Dad.
And when she opened it up it was a staff, her first magic staff, one of those magic staffs that you see mages have at the start of RPG's, the wooden ones with the curled wooden tip.
"Happy birthday my little girl, I got you your very own starter magic staff, may it help you in all your magic needs from now on." Dad said with a smile while he patted her head.
She started to get all teary eyed before turning around and hugging dad, "Thank you Daddy, I love it!"
He just smiled as he hugged her back, and after a bit he let her go, "Alright all the presents are open now it's time to eat!"
"Yaaay!" Both Megumin and YunYun cheer as they cut into the cake and begin to dig in.
The rest of the party went on just fine with the girls enjoying themselves and playing around until they tired out and turned the birthday party into a makeshift sleepover, after having dad tell Megumins parents about it of course.
I can say this was the best and Happiest Birthday YunYun has ever had, and hopefully more to come.

The next day after the party, me, YunYun and Megumin were playing around, though YunYun pulls me back towards our shed for some reason.
"Why are you bringing me to the shed?" I say confused why she brings me here.
"I'm going to show you something you may like!" She says happily before opening the shed and going in.
After a minute or two she comes back out holding something in her hands.
"Is that… a wooden shield?" I say as I look at it closely, it's rather crudely carved but no doubt about it it's a wooden shield with arm straps on it.
"Yep! Happy birthday Big Brother!" She says happily as she hands it to me.
"Aww you didn't really have too YunYun…" I say while scratching my face before a notification pops up in my head.

She just smiles as she enjoys my hug, "Mhmm!"

*Happy Birthday to me* I think to myself before I pull away.
"Ryuu! Ryuu!" Megumin says as she shakes me with a big smile with sparkling eyes
"Yes, yes I'm Ryuu, What do you need Megumin?"
"Since it's your birthday too, will we be having even more cake?!" She says with drool coming out of her mouth.
But I look at her sadly before I pat her shoulder and shake my head no, which instantly made her go pale.
"No! My Cake!!!"
