Chapter 74: The old Alpha

I paced the floors, waiting for Fern to return from wherever it is he went to. Right now, I'm not desiring anything apart from violence.

I will be sure to give him a piece of my mind should he return home.

But it wasn't until the moon was high up in the sky, did he return.

He looked as if he went for a swim with his clothes intact? However, I can scent the blood on him.

And by some magic, I can tell they are not his.

"What are you doing down here, Mek?"

"Waiting for you. What else do you think I will be doing here?" I frown at him.

"What's wrong?" He asked, but didn't make a move to come close to me.

"You know what's wrong, don't pretend to know." I placed my hand on my waist and glared down at him.

Should eyes kill, he will be several feet below me.

"What's wrong, Mek? Did anyone in the pack try anything with you?"

"You answer that." I frown at him, "you are the one who knows what's wrong with me."
