Chapter 44: S2 007 Remembering Mr. Mandala's Face

Audia reached out, stroking Alvin's hand who was holding the steering wheel. His face looked serious and annoyed, because he was stuck in traffic.

Made Audia's guts shrink. Remember the face of Mr. Mandala who was scolding his students who did wrong.

Audia is one of them.

"I'm sorry," said Audia with a pitiful face. Alvin was silent. Rubbing his lips again, his eyes returned to focus on the road.

"Alvin, will you?" Audia offered her boba drink with a witty face, trying to divert Alvin's annoyance.

Alvin was still unmoved. Not responding.

Feeling guilty, and unable to persuade Alvin, Audia chose to give up and sat quietly, sipping her boba drink until the cup was empty.

Her eyes looked out the window. Watching the same cars as her and Alvin, stuck in traffic.

Audia took a deep breath. Why does it feel so awkward? Was her mistake so fatal. So, that Alvin ignored it.
