Chapter 4: The Celebration Dinner

Na Hyun Joon was having late dinner with his members in the dorm. They all had alcohol to celebrate the completion of the first step of Na Hyun Joon's album. Hyun Joon finished writing the music, and he started working on the lyrics.

Everyone worked hard to help him critique the music and even waited for him to complete the work before having dinner together.

He was the band's youngest and the most diligent one. Unlike their leader, who mostly ends up in his flat, they all still live in their dorm together, following their company's orders. It was a luxury apartment with two floors.

Their apartment was on the seventh floor, and the first level had three bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen. The second level had three bedrooms and one common workstation for them. The band have five members. Each uses a bedroom, and an extra bedroom was converted into a game room.

Initially, they had a three-bedroom apartment, and they had to share it among them. But the company changed the living arrangements when the band became famous.

Na Hyun Joon placed the pork belly on the grill as he cooked it. He was busy cutting it into small pieces and passing all the ingredients for ssambap.

It was usual for them that their youngest take up the responsibility of feeding them.

Na Hyun Joon looked at the band's eldest member, who placed the sizzling pork belly in his bowl.

"Thank you, Hyung! All of you stayed back and helped me tonight and even treated me this dinner. So let me prepare everything for you." Hyun Joon smiled at everyone adorably.

Chung Seok, the band's eldest member, smiled at the youngest one, hiding mischief in his eyes. "That's because you have to take us to a star hotel for dinner when the album becomes a hit."

"I am broke, Hyung!" Hyun Joon whined as always.

Ji Yun Soo glared at the stingy youngest member, who refused to spend money even after earning fame and money. "You always say you are broke but spoils your little brother back home. This time spoil your hyungs. We feel left out!"

"Fine Hyung! But will you be with me or busy with the lover you have that time?" Hyun Joon jabbed at the resident playboy, knowing the other would rather be at the girl's house than be with them.

"You cheeky little brat! Are you saying I choose girls over you all, my hot brothers?" Yun Soo looked offended.

"Yes!" Everyone, including the ever so clueless Chung Seok, yelled out the answer.

Kim Ji Yu, who was quite so long, was the first one to complain about Yun Soo. "You never come to our gatherings."

"You always skip team dinner to meet some girl." Chung Seok added to the burn.

"You never play games with us!" Hyun Joon pouted as if he was the most bullied one in the game even though he was the one who always wins the video games without anyone's help.

"Traitors! Fuck off! I wish my leader came for the celebration dinner today. He would have backed me up!" Yun Soo whined out loud and tried to take the pork.

But Chung Seok did not notice Yun Soo's movement and picked the same piece and ate it.

"Or kick you in the back for bringing a girl to the dorm last weekend?" Hyun Joon glared at Hyung, who always creates trouble for his bandleader. Then their bandleader asks help from his brother Lee Whan to help them from preventing the rumour. He felt awful for Lee Whan Hyung more than his bandleader.

"Cheeky brats do not get porks!" Yun Soo picked the last piece of the pork from the grill, which Hyun Joon was about to eat.

"Hyung! Look at Yun Soo Hyung!" Hyun Joon turned towards the other three Hyungs to back him up.

Kim Ji Yu gave his piece of pork belly to Hyun Joon. "Here! You eat… Do not listen to him!"

But Hyun Joon refused it and started to cut the next batch of pork belly and placed it on the grill.

Soon everyone started to eat more while Ji Yu was drinking only soju and beer.

Hyun Joon took the alcohol from Ji Yu forcefully. He glared at the Hyung, who finished three bottles of beer and soju when he ate less than five pieces of pork belly. "Hyung! Stop drowning in alcohol and have some food…"

"She has a boyfriend… she was in the relationship for a long... long time..." Ji Yu complained as he made grabby hands at Hyun Joon for alcohol.

"Who?" Hyun Joon smiled at his drunk Hyung. Instead of giving him alcohol, Hyun Joon gave him a ssambap.

The cooked pork belly was wrapped in lettuce with some rice, kimchi, pepper paste, red bean paste and scallions, just like Ji Yu liked his ssambap.

Reluctantly Ji Yu ate the ssambap but answered Hyun Joon's question. "Aaaraaaa!" But the drunk Ji Yu could not say Alara correctly.

"Who is that?" Chung Seok leaned toward Hyun Joon.

The youngest whispered to the ever so-clueless but kind Hyung with a smile. "No idea. Just listen…"

Another Ssambap was successfully fed to Ji Yu. But he was full of grievances. "Why does everyone I love have lovers?!"

"His behaviour explains why Lee Yong Hyung never comes to the dorm when we are celebrating." Yun Soo looked at his friend, who falls in love every day and gets heartbroken.

Hyun Joon spoke seriously but was taking the dig at his band leader's ability to run away from them when all of them were being crack heads. "Shush, Hyung! Do not spill our leader's secret like this. He will be upset…."

"He had been upset for days now. Any idea what happened?" Yun Soo noticed their leader was not himself for a week and spaced out a lot. He hoped the maknae knew everything as usual.

Hyun Joon shook his head as he prepared another wrap for Ji Yu. "I tried to ask him Hyung, but he acted like nothing was wrong. So I let it be."

Hyun Joon knew their leader was upset with something for months, but no one knew it. He thought he was the only one who noticed, but finally, Yun Soo Hyung also noticed it.

"Okay!" Yun Soo nods his head. If Hyun Joon could not get the information from their leader, no one could find the information.

"He was upset? With what?" Chung Seok blinked his eyes and looked at the other two sober members, who simply smiled instead of answering.
