Chapter 28: What Is Demisexual?

Lee In-Su forgot that his first son listened to the entire conversation as he was lost in his thoughts. As the phone was mute, Lee Yong could not grab his father's attention irrespective of screaming out for his father's attention.

Lee Yong terminated the call and called his father again to settle everything.

When his father picked up the call, Lee Yong asked a little too anxiously. "Lee Whan is safe, right? What is the talk about a police station and a lawyer? We can see him again, right?"

There were many more questions, but he did not dare to ask them.

'What punishment was the third master talking about?'

'Why would my brother end up in the police station with his friends?'

'Has he been to the police station before?'

'When? How many times? Why?'

'Since when did Lee Whan have to take refuge at someone else place?'

'How many times has it happened?'

'Does mom knows about it?'

'What else did you hide from me?'

'Does mom knows about my brother's struggle?'

'Do you even care how my brother is suffering?'

'Why did you never stop any of this from happening?'

'Why did you never tell me my brother was mistreated at home?'

'Why did you never tell me anything that happens at home?'

As he was scared of the answer, many of Lee Yong's questions were unasked.

"He is fine. That's just something normal between them, friends. Let me talk to your mother first." Lee In-Su tried to brush off the issue.

"Dad… he is my brother. I want him home. I will bring him home at all costs. Even if I have to become the son my mom despises, I will do it. Or I would walk away just like my brother if that is the only way for me to be his elder brother." Lee Yong frankly laid his cards on the table.

"Stop talking about this. I will handle it. Do not worry. Try to fix your relationship with your brother. That's enough." Lee In-Su still believed his first son should not interfere in the issue and be in the way of his wife's wrath. He did not want both his sons to suffer.

Lee Yong was amused at his father's attitude. "I never let you tell me what to do all these years. You think I will let you do it now?" He terminated the call, not waiting for his father's word.

Lee Yong finally looked up and noticed none of his band members was there. He looked around and noticed they were on the balcony playing games. He was glad to know they stayed in his place as silent support if he needed it but simultaneously moved away to give him privacy.

But he could not find the manager anywhere. So he thought the other had to leave to the company to do some damage control about the sasaeng fans and the gossip around the issue.

He slowly walked toward his friends, looked at Na Hyun Joon, and asked the question hopefully. "What is demisexual?"

Hyun Joon blinked his eyes and looked at their leader, who looked tired. He knew he could do nothing as much as he wanted to help. "Just because I am gay does not mean I know everything about the LGBTQ community."

Hyun Joon wanted to whack his leader's head for outting Lee Whan. But at this moment, even though Lee Whan's sexuality was an open secret that he was not straight, revealing it without consent was still a violation.

He hated their leader being an idiot again. He did not even realise he was glaring at Lee Yong.

Lee Yong was taken back when the maknae glared at him fiercely.

Everyone became quiet.

"We can always ask Naver!" Chung Seok's kind self spoke wisely, but he was oblivious to notice the upset maknae all set to throw a tantrum at their leader.

Hyun Joon took a deep breath to prevent himself from smacking their eldest member - Chung Seok, in the head.

"Lee Yong Hyung would check on Naver. We will not check about it. We will not violate Lee Whan Hyung's privacy and poke our nose in his business. Let us not behave like an inconsiderate idiot!" Hyun Joon's words made everyone feel embarrassed.

Lee Yong understood the anger and politely thanked Hyun Joon before walking away to do his research.

Hyun Joon felt embarrassment creep into him for speaking rudely to his hyungs and chiding their leader. Biting his lips, he looked conflicted.

Kim Ji Yu ruffled Hyun Joon's hair affectionately and looked proud at their band's youngest member.

Chung Seok's smiled calmly to ease the nervous maknae even without knowing the reason for the nervousness, and the cute little anger burst out.

Yun Soo understood everything, but he did not comment anything about it. He patted their maknae's shoulder and walked off to check on their band leader.
