Chapter 4: William and Princess Lucia

"Haaaaa!!!"

Kenzo's chin almost fell to the ground when he heard and saw the attitude of the cave-dwelling monster toward him.

"Emperor of Fire?"

"Who are you? Why do you call me that?" With a pale face still full of doubt, Kenzo tried to confirm, he felt the words were directed at him.

Hearing that question, the cave guard monster immediately raised its head and looked at Kenzo with its blazing fireballs.

"Hmm, looks like he doesn't know anything yet, could it be that Princess didn't say something to him? If that's the case..." Inner the Monster and try to investigate what is going on.

"Wussst!"

The cave-dwelling monster's body was suddenly engulfed in red flames as if it was being burned violently.

Kenzo who saw that of course immediately shuddered in horror, but somehow he didn't look the least bit hot when he was in such a fierce fire, even though his fear had overcome it, he certainly wouldn't pay attention to it.

Then a few moments later the fire that was so blazing immediately disappeared instantly, then a boy who looked to be 10 years old appeared in front of him to replace the monster figure of the cave dweller.

The boy has 2 small red horns on his head, then glowing red eyeballs and a small fire symbol on his forehead, and all red clothes.

Seeing that Kenzo's eyes immediately widened as if he wanted to come out of his shell, he spontaneously tried to back away, but of course, it was in vain because now his body was stuck to the cave wall.

"Sorry to scare you, but introduce me is William James, special secretary to Princess Lucia Lone." The cave-dwelling monster who had turned into a boy immediately introduced himself respectfully.

"Wait, I still don't understand, why can a monster like you talk and how did you turn out to be like this?"

"William James? ...Princess Lucia Lone? What exactly are you talking about?"

Kenzo mustered up all his courage to ask all the strange things that crossed his face, even though the figure in front of him was just a boy who looked still innocent, he didn't dare think about ignoring it.

Burning the giant lizard to near ashes with such ease, how could he not be frightened, coupled with all the strange things that were happening before his eyes?

"Hmm, looks like Princess Lucia hasn't told you anything yet?" William muttered in a polite voice without daring to raise his head.

"Princess?... Who are you calling Princess?" Kenzo almost died from confusion, he tried to look in all directions to find out the whereabouts of the figure who was called Princess by William.

"Wussst!"

Kenzo felt something strange from inside him, and sure enough, a ball of bright blue light the size of an adult's grip suddenly shot out through his chest, causing him to fall in surprise and suddenly felt his body go limp, his eyes couldn't blink when he saw the bright blue light.

Then a moment later the blue light cracked and within it appeared the figure of a little girl with blue flame wings that resembled her own.

"This must be a dream, no doubt I must be dreaming!" Kenzo muttered trying to convince himself for the umpteenth time, before he had tried to accept his situation, but what happened now made his head almost explode from confusion.

The figure that appeared from within the ball of blue light was a mythological figure known as a fairy in his life, and now that the little elf looked so real, how could he accept it?

"Wake up... Wake up, I beg you, wake up!"

"Bukkk... bukkk!"

Kenzo who felt like he was going to go crazy immediately hit himself and even wanted to bang his head on the cave wall.

"Emperor, what are you doing?" William who saw his behavior immediately moved quickly to stop him.

"Leave that stupid creature alone." The voice of the little fairy who just opened her eyes looks like a beautiful fairy but her nature is very frightening.

"But? ...If he gets into trouble, it will also have a bad effect on you." William quickly reminded.

"Huh, I know that, and that's why I want to apologize to you, I shouldn't have chosen a useless being like him, this is truly a failure," Lucia replied with a light snort, her voice full of regret.

Hearing this, William couldn't understand what had happened between the two of them, but he didn't dare to dispute the decision of the little elf who turned out to be Princess Lucia Lone and ended up leaving Kenzo alone.

But before Kenzo could hurt himself any further, his vision suddenly became blurry, he felt excruciating pain in his chest, and in an instant, he collapsed on the spot.

"That should be better," Lucia muttered while wiping the blue blood that was dripping from the corner of her lips, apparently, she also felt the same pain that Kenzo was experiencing.

"Then I also have one more request of you, don't use your disgusting form like before, what a shame, I can't even recognize you." Lucia continued in a firm and indifferent voice while enduring the pain.

"Well I understand, I did that just to keep this cave from daring to be entered by any creature, I apologize for bothering you." William nodded respectfully.

"Mmm, that's good, let's get straight to the point, you should know the repercussions if I forcibly exit her body. It would really be very painful for both of us, so I don't have much time and you should listen carefully..." Without wasting any more time Lucia immediately explained everything to William.

A dozen minutes later, their conversation was over, William looked gloomy, "Is there no other way?" William asked in a low, sad voice.

"No! It's already done, so I leave the rest to you." Lucia nodded slowly with her voice filled with firmness.

William certainly couldn't do much he just bowed his head with his body still half kneeling, paying sincere respects to Lucia.

"Wussst!"

Lucia quickly darted back into Kenzo's body, "This should be the best choice, I wonder if you can do it or not? And in the end, I was more stupid than you for leaving everything to you and accepting this fate for granted." Lucia muttered while smiling bitterly then slowly closed her eyes.

The sound of Kenzo's heart beating quite loudly, he immediately sat up with bulging eyes when he just woke up from his stupor that had passed until half the night.

"Blood? Pain? ...This isn't a dream." Kenzo who had just woken up stared intently at the blood dripping on the ground that was coming from the corner of his lips.
