Chapter 35: Kate Jones

Her eyes were a few shades darker than the color of the dress and it looked like it was made for her. 

She was stunning just standing there with a frown etched between her brows.

Elvina strode towards him and snapped her fingers in front of his eyes, ''What are you thinking about?" 

''You look beautiful,'' he whispered even before his mind could contemplate over the words. 

Elvina's frown loosened. She tilted her head to the side and glanced at her reflection in the mirror before she looked back at him, ''You...'' 

He interrupted her, ''I just knew that this dress was exceptional. It makes you look nice,'' he said before she started assuming things. 

Elvina, who was about to say that 'You don't have to tell me about it. I know that I was born beautiful', paused, a look of disbelief creeping on her face. 

What did he mean that she looked beautiful because of the dress?
