After giving my word, I can see the series's main antagonist walk toward us with a smile that I know is anything but good. I can see he is holding two glasses of wine.

Yup. One of them is poison. If I remember correctly, Dark Arcanum is the poison given to Belcoot before the final, where he loses all his strength. The poison is subtle enough that most doctors and healers cannot notice it.
Does it have immunity to rune spells? Will Bezoar from the Harry Potter world work? Dammit.
"Thank you for coming here, mister Jacob."
"Thank you for inviting me, Heir Godwin."
"Please call me Gizel, mister Jacob."
"Then please call me Jacob."
He smiled at me and gave me the glass of wine that was already spiked with poison.
"A toast. May the best win in the Sacred Games!"
I take the glass and give him a toast before drinking it.

I can see it. He tries to hide it, but I can see the smile on his face behind the glass. Sialeeds also notices it if her frown goes by.
"Now, if you excuse me. I need to greet other guests as well."
After he goes away, Sialeeds walks toward me and says,
"Are you okay?"
"No. I have been poisoned."
"So he's really playing dirty, huh? I don't think he will play dirty this blatantly. It was not his usual play."
"Because I have been destroying all of his plans."
"Let's go to a doctor."
"I don't think it does any good, Sialeeds."
"What? Why?"
"This kind of poison is hard to impossible to notice by a doctor or a healer."
I can see her frown and shake her head.
"Let us try first. Come on. Our family has a trusted doctor we bring with us."
Sialeeds takes me to the castle, where she takes me to the Royal Family's personal doctor. Wait. I know this man. Doctor Silva has his picture on her desk, and I remember his face in the game.
"Doctor Murad?"
"Oh? You know me, lad?"
"Aye. Doctor Silva talks about you."
"Oh? That Old Witch still alive and kicking? What does she tell you?"
"That you should pull that massive stick out of your ass."
Doctor Murad and Sialeeds look at me with widened eyes before Doctor Murad laughs loudly.
"Bwahahahaha! That's Silva alright. Anyway, nice to meet you, lad. You are Jacob, right? One who notices the poison from that fraud doctor."
"That's me."
"What can I do for you?"
This time, it was Sialeeds who walked forward and said.
"Doctor Murad, I need you to check Jacob. Jacob and I have a feeling that he has been poisoned."
"Oh? Very well. Lie down on the bed, lad."
I nod my head and lie down on the bed. A few seconds later, he walked toward me with a vial in his hand. The vial is filled with purple liquid.
"Here, take this. Don't drink it, gargle the liquid and spit it into this basket."
I nod my head and do what he says. Then, I spit it into the basket, and it comes out white.
"Hmmm, the potion did not notice anything. Can I take your blood? Just a small amount."
"Sure."
He nodded his head and took out a syringe to take out my blood. He then drips my blood into seven vials before shaking them together. Again, there is no change happening.
"There is not a single poison trace inside his body, your highness. Are you sure he is poisoned?"
"I'm sure of it and he is also sure of it."
I nod my head and say.
"I know that I'm poisoned, Doc. My body is getting weaker and weaker as if something is eating my power."
"Then I don't know what kind of poison you have inside your body. I can maybe discover it with a lot of experiments but you have a fight tomorrow morning."
"I know… Do you mind if I use my Water Rune?"
"Oh? You are a rune user?"
"Yup."
"Then go ahead."
I nod my head and use my Water Rune.
"Kindness Drops!"
I can see a blob of water appear above me and fall on top of my head. I can see my body glow for a second before the light disappears.

I frown at the notification. Fail? Can a Rune spell fail? I don't know that.
"How is it?"
I look at Sialeeds and shake my head.
"No. It did not work."
"Dammit!"
I can see the anger on Sialeeds' face and regret on Doctor Murad's face.
"I still have a few solutions."
I take out a Bezoar from my inventory and eat it. However, before I could do that, Doctor Murad stopped me.
"Wait! Wait! Wait! What is that?! You can't just swallow anything inside your mouth, lad!"
"You don't need to worry, doc. This is Bezoar."
"Bezoar? What is that?"
"It was a stone-like mass taken from the stomach of a goat."
"What?"
Doctor Murad looks at me in interest while Sialeeds' face starts to get green. I decided to take out a basic book about poison and how to counter it from my inventory instead of answering him.
"Read that. Bezoar is located on page thirty-seven."
When I see him nodding his head, I swallow the Bezoar whole and grimace a little. The smell is uncomfortable, and the taste is horrible. Urgh. It is like eating an uncooked chicken intestine.
After the unpleasant taste and smell, I can feel my body react to the Bezoar, and after a few seconds of waiting, I can feel something coming out of my mouth.
"Urgh."
I puke a black liquid from my mouth and hear a notification.

The Bezoar holds back the poison but does not neutralize it. This is a problem. I only have three more solutions for this problem. The first one is to use the Flushing Draught. This is the potion I bought when I was a professor in the Harry Potter world. This potion can flush out many things from one body: Compulsion Spell, Potion-Based compulsion, and even bring back a memory from a low-level memory charm.
This Potion is expensive. I bought it for ten thousand Galleons per vial.
The second option is using my Star Rune. I can use Star Rune's power to cure me. However, this option is risky because Star Rune is supposedly a one in kind of Rune. I don't want to explain where I get those runes.
The last option is to use my emergency supply of Elixir. I hesitate to use this option because I only have two of those things, and each one of them can save my life in battle.
"Jacob? Are you okay?"
I snap from my thoughts and look at Sialeeds, who has a worried expression. I smile at her and say.
"Don't worry Sialeeds, I'm okay. I just focused on checking my body."
"How is it?"
"There is progress but the poison is still inside my body. They are just… sleeping so to say. The Bezoar manages to subdue it but the poison will awaken in a few hours. Luckily, I have a few more options to choose from."
I take a vial from my inventory and prepare to drink it. However, before I could drink it, Doctor Murad stopped me once again.
"And what kind of potion is that?"
"Oh, this? This is Flushing Draught, a potion that flushes out a harmful magical effect and potion from one body. Before you ask, I don't know how to make this potion. Not only that, the ingredient for this potion is hard to find and expensive. It takes me half a million Potch to buy this potion."
I can see him wince a little at the mention of the price of the small potion.
"Oof. Yeah. That was expensive. However, I am still willing to buy some if you have another potion in your possession."
I shake my head and say.
"Sadly, no. This is the only one. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to buy more than one.
"Fair enough."
"Doctor Murad, I think you can ask him about medicine and potion later. He still has a potion in his body after all."
I can see Sialeeds smile sweetly at Doctor Murad, who is sweating profusely. Yeah, I will not fall for that sweet smile. It was anything but sweet.
I drink the potion and hold my mouth to not puke the potion because of its horrible taste. I force myself to swallow all the potion. At first, I did not feel anything, but after a few seconds, I puked a lot of black liquid out of my mouth into the basket Doctor Murad had prepared a few seconds ago.
