Chapter 24: Chapter 23- Anticipated Battle

Every member of the Undertale Club once again has gathered and started doing their own works, though, their eyes still sometimes wander to their phones to look at the progress of the builds.
Tanaka didn't mind as he was really not rushing them to finish the game, well, pretty soon they will return to normal as of now, they are focusing on reaching the top leader boards, saying its a matter of pride for them.
While they are working, Tanaka was also focusing on his, mostly on his light novel, and also working with the music club in making theme songs for the game they are making.
The Demon Slayer is already nearing its ending and Tanaka was just doing the finishing touches while he still hasn't made the theme songs, no, he hasn't even started it yet, well, no rush, going on the speed these guys are going, it might take a month or two.
Tanaka then decided to take a break for a bit and checked the inside statistics of clash of clans, as of now, there are over 400 thousand plus downloads with 200 thousand plus average active players.
A total of 19 million yen(131 thousand USD) has been spent in buying gems and still climbing, clans created a total of 9,314, there is no leader board yet for clans but for individual leaderboard, the highest one with the trophies right now is a player named ShinoWiya, who was in Master League, Next to that player is named [ ](4 SPACES) who was only a few trophies away.
For those who don't know the order of trophy leagues, here is the list, from lowest to highest.
None, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Crystal, Master, Champion, Titan, Legend, Mythic, Demi-God.
And yes, Tanaka added the Mythic and Demi-God to spice more things up, and there are special requirements for those two high ranks, for Mythic, only 500 players can enter, even if a Legend earned as much as a mythic player, they won't be able to enter the Mythic, unless a Mythic player dropped from it.
Then the Demi-God, for this league, there are only 100 spots for players, and having enough trophies isn't enough to enter this league, because there a tournament for this which will happen every month, it's called Fortissimus Tournament, the top 100 players in the mythic will be chosen for this, and then Players will have to fight against each other, 1 vs 1 actually, its an elimination round, this will continue until there is only 1 remaining.
There is actually more to this but I just suck at explaining so anyway, with this new addition of Tanaka, the clash of clans became more intense than ever, and to encourage players to try to compete for the Demi-God League, Tanaka added a rewards system.
Such as a badge, banner, And for top 1 is their own personal skin for a specified Hero, The Barbarian King and Archer Queen for now.
For Esports Tournament, that will be for the future, as of right now, players are still discovering things from the game, they only know how to place and attack, there are also a lot of clips in the internet and the most popular one is a video of a player named [ ](3 Spaces) attacking a th8 base with a th5 level troops.
It was a video recorded by the defender who was amazed by the strategy used, though, there are no formations yet, attacking a th8 with a lot of defenses is already amazing, so uploading this video in Metube, it immediately garnered the attention of Clash of Clans enthusiastic players.
It was even analyzed by some famous strategy game players and couldn't help but upload the way it attacked the base.
The second most popular after that video is actually a single base defending against many players, it was the account of the known strongest player right now who was called ShinoWiya, who has a maxed level base, and also an amazing amount of loot if successfully attacked.
But unfortunately for players, they weren't able to break the base at all, this is where Hybrid base started to get popular, actually, this base was designed by Tanaka, it was the best base formation from his past life, it perfectly defended against air and ground attacks.
Though players are still experimenting with the bases, the number of designs have greatly increased, though, they aren't comparable to the ones from his past life which was a many years worth of experience and collection.
And yes, the player ShinoWiya is Shinomiya's account, amazing right? You didn't expect that in game name at all!
Anyway, Tanaka finished looking at the stats and predicted that in a month or two, the number of downloads will soon reach a million or maybe the best prediction he has is 2 weeks, but he wasn't sure yet, Tanaka is actually already thinking of releasing Clash of Clans overseas.
Because that is where Clash of Clans will be very popular, but for now, Tanaka wanted to get the national market for now before going overseas.
Tanaka then looked up and saw that it was already very late and its time to go home.
Tanaka: "Okay, guys that is enough, let's continue tomorrow"
Ishigami: "Ah~"
Chika: "Another great day!"
Hachiman: "Really?"
Chika: "Booo! Why are you so negative? Did you get dumped or something?"
Ishigami & Tanaka: "Pfft~"

Shirogane: "I haven't repaired my clan castle yet so you guys can go"

Tanaka winked at her in which Mizuki blushed and lowered her head, with all the players complete, after they helped Shirogane repair his Clan Castle, they started searching for their opponent.
It will take a while to find a match so, everyone started packing their things to go home and just as they were about to leave, their notification rang and their clan found its opponent.
[Undertale vs Blank]
The Clan War battlefield map appeared and two sides faced off against each other. The order of the villages is from the highest town hall level to the lowest, preparation lasts for 24 hours and each side could scout each other's war bases to plan their attack.
But of course the traps are invisible so they can only predict and strategize against that.
Tanaka and the others decided to look at their enemies and was surprised to see that all of their names were blank, for example, the number 1 which was townhall 8, has his name as [ ](1 space) and the 2nd is [ ](2 spaces).
This went on, but that is not what surprised them because, these blanks are one of the best players in the game right now, though it was strange to see their blank names, they are still well known, specially the number 3 which they have seen in Metube before.
"Ho, would you look at that, we are against strong opponent at our first war"
Tanaka couldn't help but be surprised, the opponent search system is not random actually, its more like its just arranging clans that started clan war at the same time, and it seems like they started with the blank at the same time which led into this.
But they couldn't help but get excited seeing this, their gamer genes is feeling alive and their blood boiling.
"The Clan war will start tomorrow so let's have a break tomorrow and focus on the clan war"
Tanaka could understand their excitement and they surely wouldn't be able to focus on work so its okay to take a break when there is a clan war.
They then all went home together.
Tanaka: "But blank huh, I'm kind of interested who are they"
Ishigami: "Apparently, they are known as legends in other games, known by taking all the leader boards and destroying all their opponents, and it seems like their sights landed in Clash of Clans this time"
Hachiman: "Yeah, I have heard about them in some forums ones, many speculated their identities but no one was able to uncover them"
Tanaka: "Then this will surely be interesting, they are master of games while you guys are… shit"
Ishigami & Hachiman: "..."
Tanaka: "Anyways, it seems like this will be a fun war to watch, so I might as well live stream, many of my fans are asking about my livestream channel but there is nothing so I might as well"
It was true, Tanaka social media accounts has been very active, most of his fans asking for him to show himself and some asking some advice for Clash of Clans, he was already well known to be the creator of Angry Birds and Clash of Clans, he was already popular nationally and also gaining a little bit fame overseas from those japanese who still look at things from time to time.
Tanaka then posted in Tmitter, the popular social networking service online right now, he has 600 thousand plus followers, Undertale Tanaka, he then posted the notice that he will livestream Clash of Clans tomorrow afternoon.

On the other side, Sora and Shiro both stared at the screen as they saw the names of their opponents.
"Shinowiya and Tanaka, haha, what a fate for us to meet them like this"
Sora couldn't help but laugh as he saw his opponents, unlike the Blank Clan, Undertale Clan was very famous as it housed two of the ones who took the top 1 and 3 of the leaderboard, Shinowiya was known to have no match for now as the player has already maxed everything while Tanaka is the well known creator of the game and Sora actually respected this guy because he didn't abuse his power to become strong at all, he started the same point as every other players.
Though as the game developer, he still knows a lot of things such as base designs and strategies that weren't discovered before, but he still shared it to everyone which made him very popular among gamers.
Sora was actually looking forward on playing against them, but despite having the same league as Shinomiya and Tanaka, he have never met them, so he could only hope on fighting them in Clan Wars or Fortissimus Tournament but after some deduction, he found that finding them in clan wars will be more impossible so he could only wait till FT but what an unexpected moment for him to meet them here.
He then patted his little sister Shiro who was sitting on his lap while scouting their opponent bases.
"What do you think? my cute little sister?"
"Tanaka's base isn't a problem because his base is very weak in defenses but they are placed in a very particular way that makes it difficult to attack him, but we can use 1(1 Space) to use much powerful troops to overwhelm his defenses, as for ShinoWiya, we need to make deep plans to attack her base"
Shiro replied as she analyzed everything in just a few seconds, her brain works like a supercomputer and made a lot of strategies in her mind.
Shiro is a genius but she was weak when it comes to emotions, but that is where Sora steps in for her, a guy who was a master when it comes to mind and psychology, with them together, they are both unstoppable, which earns them the title of undefeatable legends in games.
(I just had an idea of pitting them against Classroom of the Elite Characters, demn, I just shiver thinking how their battle will be, so what do you guys think of adding them to the story?)
