Chapter 2: Meeting the Team
"Doctor... It's me...It's me, Amiya. We've come to rescue you." Amiya answered Gojo's question.
" Doctor.... I don't understand any of this. " Gojo muttered.
" You.... You're a member of Rhodes Island, just like us...as well as my partner....Dr. Satoru... You're the most important person to me. Doctor... you don't remember?" Amiya asked desperately. Gojo sat up again.
The medic tried to stop him but hesitated because Gojo looked at her with what looks like the 'I dare you to do that again' look. She can't see his face because there's a literal mask covering his whole face but his actions described it as such.
Gojo slowly raised his hand and ruffled Amiya's brown hair gently. "I'm sorry Amiya. I don't remember anything." Amiya looked down in disappointment while Gojo kept ruffling her hair.
" Dr. Gojo,do you really not remember me at all...?" Amiya asked hoping Gojo's words weren't true. Gojo shook his head again. Amiya sighed in disappointment.
"Even if that's the case... I won't give up.
We've already sacrificed so much, just to find you.." Amiya muttered.
" I see.... Nice to meet you, Amiya. You seem like a great person to be friends with. The past doesn't mean shit now, we're starting over. Gojo Satoru, Doctor of Rhodes Island." Gojo stretched out his hand towards her. Amiya smiled a little and shook his hand.
" Amiya. Just Amiya. Caster Operator from Rhodes Island." Amiya introduced herself. Gojo nodded and smiled behind the face mask.
" So the Doctor does have amnesia..." The medic that was still beside him muttered. Gojo looked at her.
"What's your name?" Gojo asked her curiously. The Medic pointed to herself.
"Me? You can call me Medic. Medic Operator from Rhodes Island. You need bandages and whatnot, just holler at me." Medic smiled at him.
"Thanks Medic. " Gojo replied and smiled behind the mask.
"Damn this mask, I want them to see my smile." Gojo cursed on the inside. Gojo looked around the place.
" Where are we... " He asked.
"It's safe here—
*BAAANG!!!*
"Jinxed it Amiya...." Gojo muttered. Amiya looked around in panic.
"Huh? What's happening—
Just then a heavily armed man arrived in front of her.
"Amiya, we've got a problem! Someone broke into the facility!" The man told her. Amiya narrowed her eyes. Several people wearing black masks and armed with a sword break into the facility.
"Shit. They're definitely bad guys." Gojo muttered to Amiya.
" The way they're dressed... they don't look like Ursus soldiers!" The armed man in front of them said. Amiya narrowed her eyes.
Sounds of combat are heard....
"What's the meaning of this?!" The heavily armed man shouted at them.
...as the armed people, revealed to be part of Reunion, attacks.
"They're attacking! Amiya, they're heavily equipped with weapons!" The armed man shouted at Amiya and Gojo.
*Fiewwww!!!*
Gojo pushed Medic away as a crossbow shot narrowly misses her.
" Ahhh!!!! " Medic shouted in shock.
"Be careful, everyone! Take cover, and protect the Doctor! These outfits... are they from the Reunion Movement? But how is that possible...Guards, prepare for battle!" Amiya commanded everyone in the facility. Gojo was being brought to cover.
"Roger!" One guard replied.
"Shit. I have to think fast. I'll use what I have to bring up the low level stats. 2 points into Dexterity, 2 points into Durability, 1 point into Arts. " Gojo commanded his system while he was under cover.

Gojo felt his body change immediately. His body felt lighter and he also felt like he can tank a light punch to the nuts and not cry out like a pussy. He can also feel his reserves now.
"Let's draw on this new power and place a little in my hands just in case." Gojo thought and slowly guided his Chakra to his hands. He was leveling up his Chakra Manipulation Skill to the highest he can while under cover.
*BANG!!!*
"Curses... Are they after the Doctor?!" A guard asked himself after an explosion narrowly miss him.
"No... Nobody else should know about the Doctor being here. Are you able to reach Kal'tsit?" Amiya asked him. The man shook his head.
" I'm not sure why, but the equipment isn't working!" The guard replied solemnly. Amiya gritted her teeth.
"...Someone has cut off our communications.
Have we been discovered by the Ursus government?" Amiya asked herself.
" What do we do now?" The guard asked Amiya. Amiya closed her eyes.
" Kal'tsit won't be able to command the battle as we had originally planned." Amiya opened her eyes and looked at Gojo.
"Dr. Satoru.. I hope that... you'll be able to take command" Amiya told him.
" Isn't that a bit too risky? The Doctor only just came to..." Medic tried to finish her sentence but Amiya held up her hand.
" I'd like... to give it a try. Even without memories, Doctor has...fought alongside us before." Amiya answered. Gojo felt a small pain in his head.
" Thank you for all of your guidance..."
"We've been through so much together... Doctor... I just know that you'll be able to do it." Amiya told him while Gojo was he was having flashbacks.
"I know that you'll lead us to victory."
The flashbacks ended as Gojo could look at Amiya in the eyes again.
"I understand that asking you to do this is very sudden and inconsiderate. But... Please, lend us your aid. We'll be supporting you!" Amiya pleaded. Gojo closed his eyes.
" Let's push them back first, Amiya. Then you can give me the sweet talk later." Gojo smiled behind the mask. Amiya widened her eyes a little but she nodded in determination a second later.
"Mm... I don't want to drag you into this.
But right now, we need your wisdom more than ever, Dr. Satoru. I hope that a part of you will reawaken during combat. Even though you might have doubts about yourself...But I believe in you." Amiya held Gojo's hand.
" I know you can do this. Please take command... of Rhodes Island!
