'How did it come to this?'
Kaneki pondered to himself as he laid limp on a hospital bed.
It had been three years since he met an unfortunate fate in a car accident, causing his entire body to become paralyzed. The only body parts that functioned were his hearing, smell, and eyesight.
After spending all this time paralyzed, he became extremely bored and also lost hope at a normal life.
Naturally, his mind wandered back to the good old days when he was still in middle school, popular with girls, and was liked by the teacher.
His current state was a total downslide from his past self.
'I wish I could go back.'
Kaneki's parents had died a few years after he was born and his grandmother took care of him. Though, she too met a terrible fate later on, leaving Kaneki in a cruel world all alone.
Kaneki developed a straightforward, no-bullshit, tough personality because of this. He only looked out for himself and no one else, if he ever saw a beggar or someone getting molested near him, he wouldn't even bat an eye.
"This is the room containing the paralyzed guy.."
"Yeah, come let's go in."
Two nurses entered Kaneki's hospital room, chatting amongst themselves. They had smiles all over their faces, though Kaneki knew this was just a facade.
The duo neared Kaneki, lifted his body, and removed his clothes so that they could remove the dirt from him (piss and shit).
The duo released a sigh as they wiped Kaneki's body with a wet towel and said amongst themselves.
"Seriously, this is becoming a pain in the ass. Three whole years, I've been doing nothing but clean this useless guy's body."
"I understand your pain, Naomi."
"Thanks...It would be better if he just hurried up and died."
Kaneki didn't curse or anything, rather he understood their complaints. After all, if he was in the same shoes as the two nurses, he would have acted the same.
After the two nurses left, Kaneki thought to himself.
"Rather than suffering like this, death would be better..."
~POOF!~
Suddenly, a quirky noise rang in his ear, followed by a screen that appeared in his eyesight.
[You have been granted a second chance at life.]
[There are three queries to fill]
[1. What world would you like to reincarnate in?]
[2. What powers would you like?]
[3. What timeline of the said world would like to reincarnate in?]
'.....I....'
Kaneki was slightly surprised but soon collected himself, after all, he had read countless novels and books that have a similar concept to what he was going through. In addition, Kaneki wasn't an idiot, he could tell when he was dreaming and awake.
'Firstly, I would like to reincarnate in the world of ninjas, Naruto. As for powers, I'd like to have all three types of Haki, with the inclusion of the highest rank talent on ninjutsu and all chakra nature equipped. Lastly, please throw me into the canon timeline.'
After some time, Kaneki said to himself. If the system was bogus or not, he didn't care.
[Well, you have chosen more abilities than instructed but this one time we will allow an error in the system.]

"Is this really happening?"
After the text box disappeared from Kaneki's retina, a white light covered his vision, and as a result, Kaneki voiced his confusion.
~Swish~
Kaneko found himself in a random room. There was a single bed and a carpet underneath his feet.
In front of Kaneki was a large mirror, the size of his body almost.
Kaneki walked up to it and glanced at his reflection.
"This is crazy...I'm goddamn, unimaginably handsome, a little short, but handsome. From the looks of it, I'm around age 10."
He said in amazement, his new body was truly handsome, more so than his previous one. He had long silky, white hair and a face with no imperfection. Clearly, any girl would go crazy over him, no matter the age.
Kaneki wasn't too surprised, rather he was happy. Most people in his situation would doubt every thing and wonder if they were dreaming, but Kaneki was different. He got another chance at life.
~Ding~
[Your wishes have been fulfilled.
Sending previous memory package now!]
[This is the last time you will see the system. Go out there and live life.]
'Agh'
After the text subsided, Kaneki felt a headache which alongside it, brought memories of the previous body user.
The previous body user was a child of a mob family of Konoha, his parents had died on a mission. Due to the excessive wealth left behind, the child lived a pampered life till one day he suddenly died in his sleep, causing Kaneki to take over his body.
Though, unlike Kaneki, the previous user was introverted and lonely.
•Knock•
"Master, it is time to head to the academy, or else you will be punished if you're late."
after the knock, a female voice rang from outside the room.
Kaneki after getting the memories of the previous user, of course, knew who she was.
"Kaori, I'll be out soon, just changing into proper clothes."
Kaneki said to his newly discovered maid as he turned his body and headed towards the cupboard.
After opening his cupboard, he went on to pick clothes.
"Ehh, too outlandish."
"Absolutely disgusting."
"What gibberish is this, the previous owner had no taste in clothes."
After stifling around for a while and cursing at the clothes he found, Kaneki found a simple, plain white t-shirt and a pair of black trousers, he would have preferred jeans but of course, the ninja world hasn't developed that yet.
'looks good.'
Kaneki walked out of the room and went downstairs where Kaori had nicely cooked a dish for him.
He sat down at the table and started eating.
"Kaori, you're cooking is amazing."
"Thank you, master."
Kaneki earnestly complimented her cooking and she thanked him. Kaneki had already adapted to his new life despite being in this body for less than half an hour, the memories of the previous owner made it natural for him to adapt to such a change.
Kaori couldn't help but look at the clothes Kaneki was wearing currently, she found them to be minimalistic but also enhanced his natural beauty. It was a major improvement from the clown clothes he used to wear previously.
'Perhaps master will finally land a girlfriend.'
"Well then Kaori, I'm off, take care of the house for me..."
Kaneki said after finishing his food and leaving for the academy.
'Hmm, seems like master has had a change in personality as well, he is talkative...'
'Perhaps his chances of having girlfriend aren't zero after all.'
