Chapter 26: You will see quite the spectacle

For Tuly, it wasn't a problem. After all, he didn't want to get close to the City Lord in any case. "Alright, everyone. Let's get back to eating. We were in the middle of helping Carol with controlling Star Energy, right?"

Carol sighed before nodding in response. "Sure, I can't do something like Lian did, but I can at least gather Star Energy now. I guess I'll need a lot of training to reach your levels, though."

Grisa immediately raised her hand, saying, "I also want to learn about this chemistry, physics, math, or whatever you called them. It was because of these things that Lian was able to release such a powerful attack with his low level, right?"

Lian confirmed, replying, "Indeed. If you understand the concept behind the power you're controlling, I'm sure you can do much more." Lian then looked at Tuly and asked, "By the way, Tuly. Tuly nodded, telling him, "I believe I could barely defend against it if I was already expecting it to come. But even then, it would be complicated, and I would rather try to dodge." Lina was happy with that answer. "Cool. That means I can do something similar to an attack coming from a Level Three Star Energy Warrior or Creature. That will help out a lot."

At the same time, Lian talked with Lugg, who acted as his proxy to talk with Carol and Tuly's crowns. 'Hey, can you guys try to awaken Duran's Crown? I already know what he hates. Just make fun of his appearance and how he'll never get a woman in his life. If I said that to Duran, he would definitely throw a tantrum. I believe it won't be hard to awaken his crown with that.'

All the crowns agreed with Lian. However, before that, Tuly's crown wanted to know more about itself since it had only awakened. Unfortunately for it, the number of things that Lian's group knew was basically the same as Tuly's crown. All he could feel was that it seemed that Lian, Carol, and Tuly were making fun of him. Yet, none of them were saying anything.

Sure enough, awakening Duran's crown was quite easy. After explaining the situation to Duran's crown, it finally calmed down and agreed to let Duran feel Star Energy.

The difficulty you two are having in using the manual is more than enough to prove you aren't Fire Affinity Star Energy Warriors," Tuly lamented. "We just need to find what kind of affinity you have, though. Due to how fast you learned it, you should be quite good at your own elements."

Tuly had asked Grisa to head to the market to find different elemental manuals. The cheapest ones she could find, though.

Meanwhile, Tuly noticed that Lian seemed quite silent. "What about you? Something wrong?"

Lian shook his head, saying, "I was just thinking about the Fire Element. Instead of using air, I want to use oxygen or hydrogen straight away. That should increase the power of my Fire Element by a lot."

"O-Oxy-gen? H-Hydro-gen? What are those?" Naturally, Tuly was lost.

Lian smiled in response as he already had a long conversation with Lugg. "Wait for Grisa to bring some Wind Element Star Energy Absorption Techniques. If what I'm thinking works, you will see quite the spectacle."
