Chapter 32: Saitama Visits a Cultivation Novel

"At least it isn't an alley," Saitama chuckled as he opened his eyes to see that he was now standing on a gorgeous, rolling green pasture. Nearby, farmers who were dressed in traditional east-Asian clothing tended to their rice paddies, while a horse-drawn cart noisily drove down an adjacent road.

Shrugging, the caped baldy leapt high into the air and quickly found a nearby town from a few thousand feet up. With a few stylish backflips, the grey-suited man landed next to a house, where he whistled upon looking up at the vintage architecture. It appeared as though he'd been transported through time and was surrounded by what looked to be ancient China, although the bald villain assumed that this was merely a different dimension since he'd used his mother box to get there.

"Wow, of all times to not bring my camera HAHA!" Saitama laughed, before jumping on top of a taller building and clearing his throat to address the townsfolk. "Attention, everyone! I'm looking for the strongest, most powerful person around. If you know anyone like that, then please let them know that if he or she doesn't show up, then I'm going to reduce this entire town to dust in about five minutes!"

The civilians stared up at the stranger for a moment, before continuing on with their day, completely unfazed by Saitama's threat.

"Interesting…" the bald clown smirked as he put his hands on his hips at the lack of reaction, until a sudden tap on the shoulder caused him to turn around.

There behind him was a young man with long brown hair who was smiling warmly at the bald stranger. Draped in a blue hanfu, the man wore simple wooden sandals and a strange gourd containing a liquid was carried around his shoulder with a sash.

"Hello there, child, that was quite a threat that you just made," the gentleman said calmly as he looked the caped man up and down. "I sense that you are not of this world. Are you visiting, or are you here for a more sinister reason, perhaps?"

"I need a good laugh, so I've come to reduce the strongest person that I can find to a bloody mash!" Saitama replied as he gave the stranger a once over. "Would that be you?"

"Well, allow me to introduce myself. I am Cai Sicong, and through intense meditation and training, I've achieved a life span of well over a thousand years, and I can increase that amount on a whim" the man began. "I've mastered every martial art technique, before inventing 34 of my own. I've consumed 952 golden pills, which have risen my strength and power to levels that surpass those of the physical world. I can tap into the universe and bend its composition to my whim. I can do everything that a God can do, and more."

"Whoa ho, now that's what I call a resume! HAHAHA!" Saitama clapped as he poked at the blue-clad man with fascination. "Well, what do you say? If that's all true, then do you want to tussle with me to prove it?!"

"Well, I sense from your confidence and overall lack of fear that you are surely powerful in your own right," Cai Sicong said with a grin as he gently brushed his long hair out of his face. "But I'll warn you now, stranger. This is MY world, and if you truly want to battle, then I won't give you an inch."

"Uhhhh okay?" Saitama shrugged uncaringly. "I wasn't asking for mercy. In fact, if you don't go all out, then I'm going to rip you limb from limb just to prove a point."

"Very well," the God-like individual agreed, where he raised his hand and with a snap of his fingers, the town around them vanished.

Standing atop a giant, completely flat surface that looked like it was made of dense stone, Saitama looked into the blue, cloudless sky above. The flat plane of rock seemed to stretch out for infinity.

"I've taken us to a pocket dimension so that we don't do any damage to the real world," Cai Sicong explained as he hovered above the mass of stone. "Below us is nothing but solid bedrock that stretches on for 10 million miles, so feel free to go all out yourself."

"Perfect! Well, in that case, allow me to test your ability!" the bald clown snickered before blitzing towards the seemingly-normal man at blinding speed. Raising his fist, Saitama delivered a single punch right into Sicong's chest.

It did nothing. A shockwave of air pressure from the all-powerful punch breaking off into the distance, the caped baldy found himself the slightest bit surprised that his fist remained against the blue garment that the man wore, where the punch that obliterated the strongest foes of his own world had failed to move this individual even an inch.

"Ah, that was quite a powerful attack. Years ago, it definitely would have killed me," Cai Sicong explain calmly.

"HAHA now THIS is what I'm talking about!!" Saitama roared with amusement. "Yes, even Superman was flung into a mountain from a normal punch, but you didn't even move!"

"Do your worst, child, but you'll soon come to find that physical attacks no longer scathe me," the enlightened man continued.

"Consecutive Normal Punches!" the bald villain yelled as he began a relentless assault of blows at point-blank range against his opponent.

Chunks of rock the size of skyscrapers began to rip out of the ground as some of the wayward punches careened downwards, but yet, the ceaseless barrage of city-crushing attacks again failed to generate even a reaction from Cai Sicong.

"Being a big fish in a small pond can give one an incredible amount of hubris," the cultivator master explained as he watched his foe fruitlessly trying to punch him. "To think, of all the times I've obliterated an opponent who thought that they could beat me because-"

"Serious series: Serious punch!" Saitama yelled as he exerted more effort into the blow, where a thunderous shockwave began to rip apart chunks of the solid rock plane for miles on behind him.

Most notably, Cai Sicong actually gasped as the slightly-stronger move pushed him back a little. It was less than a foot, but it was enough to shock the incredibly powerful man.

"My…that was strong," the blue-clad master remarked as he continued hovering in place. "But alas, you fight like an irritated child who hasn't gotten his way. Come on now, give me a reason to use my martial arts, I want to-"

"Serious Series: Consecutive Serious Punches!" the bald clown again interrupted as he threw a volley of slightly exerted punches towards his foe. His eyes widening a little, Sicong raised a hand as a bubble-shaped transparent barrier formed around him while Saitama's newest attack demolished the area behind him for hundreds of miles in the distance.

"Your power is high, but your skill is none," the cultivator commented from behind the barrier, which had completely protected him from harm. "Disappointing. Fine, I'll make my move next."

"HAHA, bring it!" Saitama chuckled as he crossed his arms. "You're not invincible, I can already tell. You chose to block that last attack."

"It matters not, child, because while a mountain isn't indestructible, a mere ant cannot destroy it!" Sicong replied as his eyes began to glow blue while his body began to radiate a bright light. In a flash, he was suddenly upon his opponent, where he brought his finger to Saitama's chest. "Heaven's Touch!"

A gargantuan explosion shredded the flat landscape, generating a massive crater that was over 200 miles in diameter as the cultivator's attack sent Saitama flying backwards at 7 times the speed of sound. His tumbling body bouncing roughly as he skidded across the stone ground, an explosion of dust obscured the bald clown's figure from view. In the blink of an eye, Sicong teleported to where Saitama had landed nearly 500 miles away, where expecting to find a bloody pulp, he instead found his opponent standing and brushing off his cape.

"Weeeeakkkk," the bald villain mocked as he flicked a stone fragment out of his ear. "Don't hold back on me now, buddy!"

The blue-clad man couldn't help but let his lips curl into a light smile as he gauged the resilience of his foe. Like Saitama, he'd grown used to the fact that nothing could even come close to surpassing his power, yet the strange, caped villain presented an inkling of a challenge to the cultivator for the first time in decades. Raising his hand again, Sicong prepared to continue the fight, as the jokerized one punch man was already feeling the slightest bit of excitement.
