Killian sat with his legs crossed watching the young woman in front of him constantly shift in the carriage to get a look at the scenery they were passing by. "I'm getting the feeling you don't travel much."

"Not unless it was for important matters concerning the castle. Or my father using me as bait of course. I've never traveled this close to the border. Everything seems so different here from the way the homes are built to the way they dress. It must be cold here because of how close they live to the north," said Amelia. 

She was so excited to see outside that she completely ignored the annoyed wolf laying in the same seat as her. 

Killian was surprised that Lokie was not angry enough to bite Amelia yet. He wondered what it was about Amelia that such a temperamental hellhound like Loki liked about her. Was it because the clever creature knew he could get away with murder by Amelia's side?
