Chapter 50: Scar-faced Spy

Nadia yanked the phone from Annalise's hand and threw it under the car seat before gripping the wheel and driving off, both men jumping out of her way in time to let her speed past them.

"That stupid Leonardo!" She swore under her breath.

Annalise glanced behind them to see if the black sedan was following and only let relief flood her senses when she saw they weren't.

"What is going on?" She asked Nadia once she felt they were safe enough to discuss.

Nadia glanced at her briefly. "Are you okay?" She asked and Annalise almost groaned at Nadia's treatment

"Nadia, I promise, I'm fine. How about you? Still shaken?" 

"Don Roberto scares the shit out of me but I think I'll be fine. Nicolás doesn't trust his father with you now and although I don't know all the details of that, I can understand why."
