Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Training
Waking up, Adrian immediately wanted to start training, but instead he had to have his breakfast with his parents first.
After washing up, he came to the kitchen table as his father was already sitting while his mother was cooking.
"Ono told us you were training until very late last night" stated his Oden.
Ono being his personal aide and guard.
Oden seemed to be worried about the fact that his son could overwork his small body and ruin his growth as well as damage his health.
"I'm fine, it's just that I'm worried that I won't grow strong enough to protect you and mom or the clan."
"You're a hundred years too young to be worrying about me" stated Oden while rubbing his son's head.
"Just make sure you care for yourself and damage your muscles and if you get any injuries immediately tell me" sternly stated Kaya while placing the food on the table.
The trio started eating and were peacefully talking until Oden said "How about I watch you train today. It has been quite some time since the last time I did."
'This could allow me to show him my crash magic and make it so he can believe that it's a form of kekkei genkai or kekkei tota.' Adrian thought.
"Yeah dad, that would be great." Adrian said.
After they finished eating Kaya washed the dishes while Oden stood calmly in the court yard with his son.
"I want you to try your hardest so that I may see what level your currently fighting on."
He immediately charged forward and threw a straight right at his father, who calmly pushed it aside. Adrian then attempted a midair roundhouse that Oden caught easily.
Though his son's physical strength seemed to surprise him as he hadn't expected it to grow so fast as it was on the level of some preteens in the clan.
He then released his son and threw him back as he landed on his feet.
"Your strength is good but if you can't use it properly then it'll simply be wasted on you."
They exchanged a few more blows but anything he did was easily caught or countered.
He then did the hand signs for the Fireball Jutsu, albeit slowly, and fired it at his father. His father simply demonstrated his masterful control over Wind Chakra by simply swiping the Jutsu out the air.
Adrian now stood panting heavily, as the Fireball Jutsu took around half of his chakra pool.
"If this is the best that you can do then you'll simply be another corpse of the battlefield." coldly stated Oden.
He knew from the beginning that while his father was kind he would never go easy on him during training, since he knew one day he would have to protect himself.
Adrian charged forward once more as his father stated "It seems you still haven't learne-" he stopped as he was shocked by what his son had just done.
Adrian had touched the ground under his father's feet, and under his disbelieving eyes, the earth under him turned into cubes causing him to jump up immediately.
"What was that?" Oden stated as he immediately ran towards his son to ensure he was safe.
"I don't know, I only found out I could do it yesterday" stated Adrian who was now sitting on the ground due to chakra depletion.
His father was thinking to himself 'Our clan has never had a kekkei genkai only our high levels of chakra control and stronger physiques. Even when marrying with the Uchiha any of us who awakened the sharingan usually joined their clan. Could it be a rare mutation that has caused us to gain a brand new power'
"Tell no one other than me and your mother about this."
No matter what, a new kekkei genkai could immediately get his son targeted for assassination from there enemies. He puts the protection of his family above even his own life and he was prepared to keep this as a secret until his son grew strong enough to protect himself.
"Ok dad." Adrian agreed, as he also knew the dangers a new bloodline limit could cause for the clan, even if they were allied with the Uchihas it wouldn't be enough.
"What are the things you can do with that ability." he asked as he wanted to know his son's capabilities with this ability.
"So far I can crush and disassemble anything that I hit with it, but the chakra cost depends on what I'm crushing." Adrian told his father.
"Well then let's continue." Oden told Adrian
The two fought with taijutsu for the entirety of the day with Adrian using with Crash magic whenever they took a break to become more proficient with it.
By the time they finished the sun was going down, so Oden and Adrian went into there home to eat dinner before going to bed.
