Chapter 14: Rise And Shine!

With everything that he wanted done for the night finished Kanaki finally let out a sigh of relief as he leaned back in his chair turning off all electronics in the room. There had been a lot going on the past few days and he definitely enjoyed it.

In fact, this was the most fun he had since he was born. There were many times in his childhood when he was forced to do things he didn't want just because his parents told him it was good for him. The biggest pain would be when someone told him that he needed to pay attention in class because the information he was learning would be important later in life.

The climate on the other side of the planet was not important to him, not in the slightest!

Most of the things they taught him would be forgotten by the next year only making the cycle repeat over and over again until he finally finished college with his degree. Now that he had finished college he was somewhat of a free man which led him to begin his streaming career.

He loved it so much so far that if all the terrible and annoying things in his life led him to this point then he would do it over again. Without question, he would repeat every mistake, every success, and every path he had ever taken just to end up where he was at this exact moment.

With a smile on his face Kanzaki then lay in bed before going to sleep dreaming of all the growth he wanted to have streaming in the future.

'I should be asleep.' Selena thought as she stared at her phone. Normally she worked at night and went to sleep in the afternoon but when she went to meet all of her new tenants it had messed up her sleep schedule quite a bit.

It didn't help that after she finished up at the apartment Kanzaki had gone live and was streaming. She had sat there and enjoyed his voice for a bit but every time he mentioned her or tried to get her to chat she didn't respond. She had a weird feeling inside of her body and mind as she tried to figure out what she truly wanted from Kanzaki.

She knew that she had an obsession with him since he treated her in such a way that she had never had before but she knew next to nothing about him. Her mind was in turmoil as she thought about whether she was fine with just watching him stream or whether it was something more but when she saw him growing so much in his stream she began to think that eventually, he will forget about her since there were so many viewers and followers talking to him.

She would end up as one fish in an ocean and he would forget all about her. This thought caused her to hyperventilate and begin panicking as she knew that she never wanted this to happen. She wanted him to continue to give her compliments and ask about her day but how will she do that without pushing harder to be a part of his life?

She then began thinking about why she even wanted something like this. She owns this guy's apartment and not only that he's younger than her! What would other people think about her acting like this? When Selena thought about other people she shut down her thoughts and mentally threw a middle finger since she knew that inside she could care less what others think. All she knew right now was that she wanted more of what Kanzaki was giving and that she didn't want to lose him which meant she needed to find a way to get closer without being too forward that way she won't be forgotten.

With this thought in mind, Selena began scrolling through her phone planning out how she would stay connected while keeping her distance at the same time. It wasn't love but she knew that at this moment she need Kanzaki.

"RISE AND SHINE MY BRO IT'S TIME TO WAKE UPPPPPP! GET UP DO A FLIP AND MAKE SOME BURGERS FOR GOODNESS SAKE! DON'T MAKE ME WALK IN THERE AND PIMP SLAP YOU TO NEXT CHRISTMAS, I WILL DO IT!" Kanzaki's alarm began blaring at him once more making him shoot out of bed with anger as he swiped the alarm away.

'It works so well but it makes me so mad.' Kanzaki thought with a sigh as he set up his next alarm. The method that he had been using was to set up an angry alarm to wake him up and with the rage he got from the alarm he set up another alarm that would make him just as mad making the cycle continue.

It was a rather strange method but so far he had woken up every time. He would rather feel a few moments of anger rather than miss the set time for his new stream schedule that he had just set up the day before.

Now that Kanzaki was up and awake he took his time making his breakfast before getting on his computer to write his good morning message to the person who had yet to respond. He was beginning to get less worried about what happened to them and more frustrated at the fact that he had no idea what they were doing.

'Are they ghosting me or is something bad going on?' Kanzaki thought to himself unsure of what to do. In his mind, he began thinking up different scenarios of whether they were truly ghosting him after finally having enough of him or simply getting bored. On the other hand, there was always the thought in the back of his mind that they had something crazy going on and they were desperately trying to get back to him and the second he gave up would be the day that they respond and it would all end horribly.

'For now I will keep on believing.' Kanzaki thought with a forced smile as he finished typing the good morning message and sending it to the person.
