Chapter 78: Gamer Gill
"Hello everyone thank you for joining me today! I'm happy to be back streaming and excited to hang out with you guys." Kanzaki said as he started his stream moving his V-Tuber model back and forth to show his excitement.
Today was the day Kanzaki was going to be playing with 2 other streamers in addition to Rose13. The other 2 streamers were actually the people Kanzaki would be playing with during the big event. He had no idea who any of the people were yet but was excited to meet all of them.
Kanzaki continued his stream as usual saying hello to his viewers that were joining before he got on to the main event which was playing with Rose13 and the others. When he had first turned on his computer he was excited to see that he had been invited to a Cord server made for just him and the rest of the people he was playing with during the event. This server allowed for all of them to be in the same call while they played and streamed their gameplay.
'Hopefully, I am able to fit in well with them.' Kanzaki thought to himself. He was hoping for like-minded people that would mesh well with him since he didn't really like rude people. This was especially true since he would be playing with all of them in an event for the company he worked for Witch.
"Hello, can everyone hear me?" Kanzaki said as he joined the call. It seemed like he was the last one to arrive since when he joined he saw that there were already 3 other people on the call talking.
"Yes, we can hear you loud and clear! Welcome Mask!" Rose13 said to him with a cheery voice. The other two in the call were silent for the first few seconds surprised by her strange reaction to Kanzaki before talking themselves.
"Hi! I can hear you great my name is Crasher35 but you can just call me Crash." One of the guys said with a cheery-sounding attitude. Kanzaki decided to take a moment to look them up and was surprised to see they were a different type of streamer than himself. Crasher was a person that didn't use a V-Tuber model but instead showed his real face on the camera revealing an average man wearing glasses and brown hair. He had a good stream setup that Kanzaki liked but besides that, there was not a whole lot else.
"I should probably introduce myself then! I am the knight of our lovely Rose13 this evening. My name on Witch is Gamer Gill but most people just call me white knight or Knight for short." The other guy in the room said introducing himself as Gamer Gill or Knight? Kanzaki was unsure of what he wanted to go by so he just decided to call him Knight since it was a lot simpler.
"Nice to meet you all. I'm Mask and I am a newly partnered person. I hope you will all take care of me." Kanzaki said with a nice tone ignoring the way Knight described himself toward Rose13. It seemed to him like Knight had some sort of infatuation with Rose13 but he needed to watch more before forming his complete thought.
While Kanzaki was talking he decided to also look up Knight by his Witch name Gamer Gill. When Kanzaki clicked on the stream he was surprised to see a larger man sitting back on a recliner while holding the keyboard. The man looked to be in rough shape with pizza boxes all over the place and 3 soda cans placed at the feet of his recliner.
Kanzaki didn't understand why people would even follow this man since when Kanzaki looked at the stream it just made him feel sad but when he read the chat he began to understand why so many people were attracted to his stream.
[PizzaIsAYes: Did you guys try the new meat lovers pizza the other day?]
[TrollMan: Of course not who are we some losers that eat pizza all the time?]
[Heh: Look at this dude he can't help but sit there. I wonder if he can even move.]
[ILoveGirls: The sound of lady Rose's voice is amazing! Keep up the good work Knight!]
Many different chats were going off but Kanzaki thought he got a pretty clear picture of what was going on. Knight had an array of different people in his chat. Some of them seemed to have nowhere else to go while some people seemed to be trolls trying to mess with him just because of his situation.
As for the other group of people they seemed to be like Knight in the fact of how he treated girls especially Rose13 at this moment. Seeing the stream made Kanzaki sad so he closed it not wanting to look at that kind of toxicity any longer.
"Nice to meet you as well I'm sure we will be able to get along well." Knight said with enthusiasm being really friendly with Kanzaki. Kanzaki couldn't help but have a smile on his face hearing the new person's enthusiasm but there was still much to do so he didn't say anything else.
"All of you add Mask and we can begin playing." Rose13 with slight excitement evident in her voice which was not missed by any of the other streamers including the viewers. The ones that had been present the day before when she and Kanzaki played knew that the reason for her excitement was to play with him but the others that hadn't been present, such as the other streamers. thought it was due to them being there so they smiled inwardly.
'This is my chance.' Crasher thought to himself as he join the lobby with the other 3. Knight also had a similar thought but instead of thinking of it as a chance, he was just glad to be there with all 3 of them.
"Let the games begin!" Rose13 said happily as she pressed the start match button for the first time that day.
