Chapter 88: Concern
Once Kanzaki was fully ready to go he walked out of his door and headed out of his apartment building into the cool night. As Kanzaki was walking down the street he felt excited to meet the person he had made plans with and was also enjoying every moment of the nice feeling night. He felt very fulfilled and felt like he was living his life the way he wanted to and to him, that was all that mattered.
He didn't need the fancy apartment or the big streamer setup as long as he got to do exactly what made him happy. Walks like these gave him time to reflect and consider all the things that were happening in his life and it was nice being able to unwind like that.
One of the first thoughts in Kanzaki's mind, when he was walking, was his situation with his mom. Legally she couldn't do anything anymore but in Kanzaki's mind she was still a force to be reckoned with and he was hoping to be able to prove to her that the job he was doing had even more benefits than the one she wanted him to do.
Kanzaki's job wasn't stable at all but the money he was making made it well worth it. It wasn't like he hadn't had a plan the entire time. From the beginning, he had told himself that if he didn't make a certain amount then he would quit the job and do something with his degree but by some sort of grace from above he was able to make streaming work out and even make more money than he would have with his degree.
In his mind, it was just a matter of making it clear to his mom that he was making money and that he had a fulfilling job that he enjoyed. He didn't need all the bells and whistles in life as long as he was happy that was all that should matter.
Once Kanzaki finished his thought he was surprised to find himself in front of the gym. Kanzaki had thought he would have more time to think but it seemed he was wrong and he made sure to send a text to the person he was meeting to make sure that they would be arriving soon.
After around 1 minute of waiting, he got a text back from the person saying that they would be arriving momentarily. This excited Kanzaki to no end and it even pumped him up for the amazing workout he and the person were about to have.
Suddenly a taxi pulled right beside Kanzaki parking on the curb beside the gym before the taxi driver came out and opened the back door to let the person out. By the interior of the car, Kanzaki could tell that this was not a normal taxi. For one thing, the driver was wearing a butler outfit and on the other hand, the inside was leather finished with all sorts of fancy drinks and things on the inside.
"Is that you Mask?!" The person in the vehicle said suddenly catching Kanzaki's attention. When he actually looked at the person riding in the vehicle Kanzaki saw a larger man that was slightly struggling to make his way out of the taxi. However, the smile on his face could never be replaced and Kanzaki was the same flashing a smile back to him as well.
"Knight?!" Kanzaki asked with a smile trying to be sure that he was the person he was waiting on. After Kanzaki peeked into the chat of Knight the other day and saw the toxicity being thrown his way Kanzaki had about enough of it and convinced Knight to join him in going to the gym with him.
While they had been messaging each other Kanzaki found out that Knight lived within 30 minutes of where the gym was located so he invited Knight and surprisingly he accepted. This made Kanzaki more excited than he had ever been and to top it all off both of them were going to be using the same personal trainer so they could become healthier together.
"Are you as excited about this as I am?" Kanzaki asked with enthusiasm once Knight was able to make his way out of the vehicle and finally give Kanzaki a handshake. Neither had let the smile on their face falter making it clear that he was excited as well.
"Of course I am! I'm ready to prove those haters wrong and even get healthier in the process!" Knight said pumping his fist as they both began making their way inside the gym. Once they were both inside the gym they began talking to one of the people in the front about where they needed to go to meet their trainer.

"Is that who I think it is?" Selena wondered to herself as she followed Kanzaki closely. If Kanzaki had been paying attention while walking instead of being deep in his thoughts he would have realized behind him there was always a commotion going on. There were always a ton of people looking in one direction and that was Selena's.
Selena had forgotten to grab a coat or anything to mask her identity while stalking Kanzaki which caused a lot of people to see her beauty at first so they were all looking. She had wanted to stop a few times to grab a coat or something to cover herself with in case he turned around but she didn't just in case he got too far away by the time she got out with a coat.
However, she lucked out when someone stopped her and handed her their coat after saying that it was too cold for her to be walking around with only normal clothes. Selena had taken the jacket and promptly left leaving the person in shock thinking she was going to give them a chance.
Now that Selena was hidden and saw that he was meeting Knight she became much less worried but decided to stay just in case she saw something that concerned her.
