Chapter 9: Rescuing a damsel in distress
'Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!' Klimo continued cursing as he began running back to the girl in a bid to rescue her.
He wasn't sure if the robot would really attack her or not, but he knew he couldn't ignore her while she was in pain. He would have though, assuming someone else decided to be a hero, but there was none. Everyone were to focused on passing this crucial test that no one paid any attention to her.
Running back meant he was literally forsaking the test as it was already less than ten minutes left, and all the robots were currently chasing and attacking the students who were at the front.
There was definitely no way he would be able to rescue her and gain the required point in time. Except there was a miracle.
As Klimo ran back, he checked the list on the screen and was sad to see his name being listed as the 97th out of 100. The other three behind him in points each had zero points.
'Shit! It's about to crush her!'
Klimo increased his speed to the maximum and got there just as the robot slowly began raising its huge mechanical leg, aiming to pulverize the girl. The girl was crying really loud.
"Please help me!" She begged Klimo.
Klimo tried lifting the pillar that fell on her leg as quickly as he could and with all his strength, but he couldn't even lift it an inch higher.
'Her leg most definitely must be crushed from this weight.' Klimo thought. He was able to do this because the robot was really slow. He wondered whether it was intentionally set like that by the examiners or if that was how it was built.
"Save me!" The girl's voice brought him back to the present.
He turned and saw a building with a pillar bent on it in such a way that he could run on it to the roof. The building was about 9ft high, just the same height as the huge robot.
'Here goes nothing.'
Klimo began running up the building using the pillar as a foundation and got to the roof.
The robot's leg had reached its high point and it now slowly descended.
"what are you doing?" He faintly heard the girl scream at the top of her lungs in tears as she watched Klimo climb to the roof of the building. She could make absolutely no sense of what he was doing.
Klimo humphed and ran back to the edge of the building.
[Host, this is not going to end well.] The system warned.
"You think?"
Klimo breathed in and out once and charged towards the robot with all his speed.
When he got to the edge, he jumped off the building, and delivered a punch to the head of the robot the moment he was in range.
*Boom*
The head of the robot crumpled at once due to the force of the punch and slowly but verily, it fell backwards to the ground, landing with a loud thud.
[Your fist is broken!]

Klimo fell from that height like a meteor and landed on the ground, just beside the girl, in the process breaking another part of his body.
[Your jaw is broken!]

[HP 4/10]
"Oh no!' The girl screamed. "You saved me! You can't die now. WAKE UP!"
Due to the fall, Klimo had almost been knocked unconscious, but the jolting pain he felt in his wrist and jaw forced him to stay awake. For a few moments, he lay on the ground, his eyes closed.
This was what made the girl think he was dead. He however wasn't planning on moving any part of his body anytime soon, but he did when this happened.
*Slap* *Slap*
He'd received two slaps on his face from the girl.
"I SAID WAKE UP! I HAVE TO THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE!" She yelled, as tears ran down her beautiful face.
[Broken jaw has received negative force]

[HP 3/10]
At once, Klimo's eyes shut open.
'Is this girl fucking crazy?' He thought, forcefully dragging his body up with a deep groan.
His eyes went up to the display.
'Two more minutes left.'
Right now, all the other students were nowhere in sight. Worse, his name had moved from the third to the last, to the very bottom. He'd been overtaken by the last two with 25 and 15 points respectively.
Klimo turned to the girl with a smile that closely resembled a grimace. He had to get to the finish line in less than two minutes but he couldn't leave the girl here.
He walked over to the robot and pulled off one of its part that had been broken from the fall, and placed it as a wedge between the pillar and the ground.
"When I jump on this stuff, try to move your leg out of the way as fast as you can."
Although that was what he said, the girl just heard rubbish being spewed from his mouth due to his broken jaw.
However, after seeing what he just did, she knew exactly what was required of her, so she nodded.
Klimo proceeded to count down with his fingers. 'Three, two, one.'
Then he jumped with all his might and landed on the robot part, and successfully, the pillar lifted into the air, giving just enough time and space to the girl to drag her leg away before it landed back on the same spot.
She hadn't had the time to observe her now mangled leg or say any words of thanks as she was lifted up from the ground and placed on his shoulder.
Once Klimo had carried her, he began running.
However, he couldn't help but notice her huge knockers continuously bouncing and hitting his shoulder as he ran. But he ignored the feeling and continued running.
Just as the timer counted zero, Klimo crossed the red line.
